Fashion-loving mum Geriiee Lamb took to TikTok to send a message to all the haters who had an issue with her little daughter’s outfits.

Sharing a series of snaps of her mini tot sporting her best gear, including a bright pink Juicy Couture tracksuit and fluffy faux fur sandals, the young mum said she was simply ”not that kind of girl” to be dressed as ”a baby”.
Little Romy may be just a few months but she already owns a massive collection of enormous bows her parents put on her head, whether that’s a lovely pink moment or a white bot with a silver heart detailing on the front.
The mini tot, who was born premature, also rocks denim jackets, stylish costumes, adorable cardigans, socks with ginormous ruffle detailing in every colour of the rainbow.
Other garments in her lavish wardrobe include a white Juicy Couture top with the iconic logo in a silver print, as well as an adorable Ralph Lauren Polo dress in vibrant yellow – this little number retails for more than £90 online.
In fact, Romy has become such a mini fashionista, Geriiee recently announced her baby has become ”a rep” for That Bow Though, an accessory brand that specialises in designer bows.
However, as stylish as Romy may be, her wardrobe – which sometimes matches her mum’s outfits – has not been everyone’s cup of tea.

After Geriiee (@geriieelambb) posted the clip on TikTok, the video soon racked up close to a whopping 280k views, as well as a number of negative comments mum-shaming the parent.
More than 1,000 people flocked to share their thoughts on the garments, with one reckoning they’d be uncomfortable for the little tot.
”She is adorable. Just I don’t see how these outfits will be comfy, won’t they be too heavy on her?”
”Hilarious,” is how another felt about the fashion choices.
”At least you will be able to spot her a mile away, the outfits are cute, just not every day wear when she starts walking,” someone else chimed in.
”Beautiful baby, I would just hate for my baby to spit up or have a poonami in those outfits, my girls already ruined a few outfits with accidents,” a fellow mum chuckled.
Luckily, there was also heaps of support, as kind-hearted social media users raced to hit back at the trolls.
”Not my cup of tea, however do what you want cos that’s all that matters and erm how absolutely beautiful is she,” a fan couldn’t get over the adorable tot.
How to keep your baby cool in the heat
Sun safety – here’s what the experts at the NHS recommend:
- Babies less than 6 months old should be kept out of direct sunlight. Their skin contains too little melanin, which is the pigment that gives skin, hair and eyes their colour, and provides some protection from the sun.
- Older babies should also be kept out of the sun as much as possible, particularly in the summer and between 11am and 3pm, when the sun is at its strongest. If you go out when it’s hot, attach a parasol or sunshade to your baby’s pushchair to keep them out of direct sunlight.
- Apply a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30 to your baby’s skin. Make sure the product also protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Many brands produce sunscreen specifically for babies and young children, as these products are less likely to contain additives that might irritate the skin. Apply the suncream regularly, particularly if your child is in and out of the sea or paddling pool.
- Make sure your child wears a sunhat with a wide brim or a long flap at the back to protect their head and neck from the sun.
Follow these tips to help keep your children cool and safe during hot weather.
- Playing in a paddling pool is a good way of keeping babies and children cool. Keep the pool in the shade during very hot weather and supervise the children carefully at all times.
- Run them a cool bath before bedtime.
- Keep your child’s bedroom cool during the day by closing blinds or curtains. You can also use a fan to circulate the air in the room.
- Keep nightwear and bedclothes to a minimum. If your baby kicks or pushes off the covers during the night, consider putting them in just a nappy with a single well-secured sheet that will not work loose and cover their face or get entangled during the night.
- A nursery thermometer will help you monitor the temperature of your baby’s room. Your baby will sleep most comfortably when their room is between 16C and 20C.
”Why don’t people just mind their own business! Baby is healthy and happy, that’s all that matters,” another reminded others.
”You keep dressing YOUR baby however you want because she’s YOURS. and she’s just adorable,” a fashion-loving social media user wrote.
After being criticised online for dressing her baby ”like a doll”, Geriiee, too, had a message to the critics.
According to her, the little Romy didn’t spend the full day in the lavish outfits – they’re all just for photoshoots.
”They’re not heavy, and to be honest she’s only in them for photos.
”Then she goes in to a baby grow,” she explained.
