Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that he posed for the photoshoot in front of a cabinet his TOWIE ex Lydia Bright recently refurbished.

She showed it off to followers on Instagram yesterday, writing: “The perfect statement piece in our main living area to hold Loretta’s bits and bobs.”

The former reality star was happy to admit that she was the person behind the camera, joking: “Last photo shoot I am ever doing for you. It only took 100 shots!”

The exes split up for good in 2016 after Lydia allegedly came home to find James relapsing on his drug habit and using the class-A drug cocaine.

He tried to turn things around after their break up, binning the booze and attending a series of gruelling fitness camps to lose weight.

The couple never did get back together, but the pair eventually settled into an amicable friendship.

Arg recently told the Sun that his ex is still a big part of his life, saying: “I want to be able to see Lydia when I’m not having a good day as she’s somebody I turn to for help.”

Now at a more healthy 15 stone 7lb, Arg has opened up about how he feared he was eating himself to death as his weight ballooned to 27stone following his drugs battle.

He revealed the battle with binge eating nearly killed him, saying: “Bingeing made me tired and lethargic so I’d make plans every day to meet friends, do a job or achieve something.

“But after I binged, I was so exhausted I’d end up just staying in bed and not leaving the house. Then one afternoon my mum found me in bed and started crying.

“She said, ‘I don’t recognise my son any more.’ That was a big wake-up call.

“Also, I reached the heaviest I’ve ever been in the height of the pandemic and doctors said I was dicing with death because I’ve got bad asthma and was morbidly obese, which was the worst possible combination if I was to catch Covid.

“I could have been a goner, so I just knew I had to do something.”
