She advised: “Place vanilla extract [in an oven-proof dish] in your oven to make your whole home smell like cookies.”
Hoover this
Before you give your carpet a hoover, you’ll need to try this tip if you want your home to smell fresh.
Chantel advised: “Place essential oil on cotton balls and place this inside your vacuum to keep your home smelling fresh.”
Bin it
Not only this, but before putting a bin bag into your bin, check out Chantel’s trick.
She explained: “And you guys know I also love placing them [essential oil cotton balls] onto my bin liner to rid odours.”

If you’ve got a dishwasher, Chantel’s hack is one to try – and it’ll cost you just 65p thanks to a Tesco buy.
The cleaning whizz shared: “Run baking soda in your dishwasher to rid musty smells.”
Mop off
Finally, if you thought shaving cream (which you can buy for as little as £1 from Superdrug) had just one use, it’s time to think again.
Chantel shared her trick and concluded: “Neutralise bathroom odours by mopping your floors with shaving cream.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mama_mila_, has clearly left many very impressed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a whopping 1.1 million views.
Social media users were grateful for Chantel’s tips and many took to the comments to express this.
