A child has died and a second is in hospital after a single-vehicle crash near the New South Wales-Victorian border.

Emergency services were called to Moulamein Road at Moulamein, about 110km north-west of Deniliquin, on Thursday afternoon in response to reports a vehicle had rolled.
Officers from the Murray River Police District attended and located a Toyota Hilux with significant damage.
A six-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car died at the scene.
A four-year-old boy, who was also travelling in the car, was treated by paramedics from both NSW and Victoria, before being flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
The driver, a 31-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police from the Crash Investigation Unit set up a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Moulamein Road re-opened to traffic Friday morning.
