The couple danced to the Neighbours theme tune
Her pregnancy hasn’t stopped Dianne taking part in the 2025 series, where she has been paired with Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis.
Tonight, the duo danced their first routine in the Strictly studio, a foxtrot to the Neighbours theme tune.
The couple scored one of the better scores of the night with 22, and Dianne then received a ’10-second baby shower’ from her Strictly family.
Neil Jones – dressed as a stork – brought on some gifts for her.
Dianne replied: “I love you all so much and thank you for being so supportive.”
While the majority of people have been supportive, some trolls have taken aim at Dianne for dancing while pregnant.
The message said: “I don’t want to see her dance being pregnant, it’s already feeling uncomfortable and she’s only starting to show. It’s really not appropriate.”
Shocked by the remark, Strictly favourite Dianne hit back: “I can’t believe in 2025 things like this are still being said.”
But while one troll tried to bring her down, another fan rushed to lift her up.

The flame-haired dancer proudly reposted a heartfelt message from a supporter who praised her for inspiring millions.
If you’re eager to mark the holidays this year with a Danish flair but Copenhagen seems a tad too far away, you might find the answer in Solvang. An answer that includes gnomes and a troll.
That city, founded in 1911 by Danish immigrants, celebrates its Julefest — the winter holidays — with an emphasis on visitor-friendly Old World traditions. This year’s schedule includes a series of events and activities from Nov. 28 through Jan. 4 — roaming carolers, European-style night markets, candlelight tours and shops transformed into micro winter wonderlands.
If you’re planning a winter road trip, here are some things to know.
The most quaint hotels in town are tiny, so book early
Solvang, about 130 miles northwest of Los Angeles, has about 20 hotels and most are smallish and independent. The largest is the Corque Hotel (122 rooms), which is affiliated with Marriott but owned by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians.
The most intimate and affordable hotels — often in a vintage motel sort of way — include the Atterdag Inn (8 rooms), New Haven Inn (10 rooms), Hamlet Inn (13 rooms), Mirabelle Inn (13 rooms), the Viking Inn (13 rooms) and the Winston (14 rooms).
The most luxurious is the Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort, whose 73 rooms and cottages routinely rent for $1,500 nightly or more (the property includes a lake and two golf courses).
A tree will rise, amid carols, craft markets and more
Solvang’s holiday celebrations include a tree lighting, like this one in 2023.
(SolvangUSA)
Tree lighting will happen at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Solvang Park, followed by a Julefest Parade the next morning at 11 a.m.
Caroling is scheduled on several Saturdays, Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 13 and 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Solvang Park (weather permitting). Art and craft markets will materialize on Wednesdays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17, from 3 to 7 p.m.
There will be European-style markets to peruse.
(SolvangUSA)
Solvang Park will offer hourlong light and music shows nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 28 through Jan. 4. There are also evening trolley rides through the San Ynez Valley and meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa (in Solvang Park) are set for noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 29 and 30, then Dec. 6, 7, 13,14, 20 and 21.
On Dec. 31, attention shifts to Julefest’s Copenhagen Countdown in Solvang Park, ringing in the Danish new year at 3 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. This event, from 2 to 4 p.m., will feature live music from an ’80s tribute band known as the Molly Ringwald Project.
Gnomes and a troll are expected
The seasonal offerings also include candlelight tours (featuring LED candles and hosts in costume), Christmas light tours and daily hunting for nisser (gnomes) throughout downtown Solvang.
The troll — nicknamed Lulu Hyggelig — isn’t really a seasonal addition. It (or she, if you prefer) is a permanent resident of the city’s California Nature Art Museum, added in February. Lulu, made of recycled pallets and wine barrels, is one of many trolls created worldwide by Danish artist and recycling activist Thomas Dambo and his team of veteran builders and volunteers.
Christmas trees will burn — and that’s part of the celebration
Solvang’s holiday Julefest season often ends with a Christmas tree burn. This one happened in 2023.

The season ends with a Christmas tree burn, billed as a safety demonstration, supervised by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, weather permitting.
MAGA loves a red cap and boasty T-shirt slogan, but not when it’s coming from California Gov. Gavin Newsom and it looks a lot like the gear they purchased from the Trump Store. So guess what the governor did over the weekend?
After weeks of mocking tweets from Newsom that mimic Trump’s usage of ALL CAPS, multiple exclamation points and memes picturing the 79-year-old as a ripped young man, the governor took the next logical step in his get-under-their-skin campaign and launched his own store for merch, the Patriot Shop.
“THE PATRIOT SHOP IS NOW OPEN!!!” he crowed. “MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS IS THE GREATEST MERCHANDISE EVER MADE. PLEASE ENJOY, AMERICA!”
But how will Newsom’s parody products compete with the president’s monetization of office, a grift that’s made millions selling Trump-themed sneakers, Christmas gift wrap, perfume, cryptocurrency and even guitars?
It starts with a red trucker cap, naturally. The governor’s reads “NEWSOM WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING.” The product’s description includes the explainer: “Humility is overrated.”
Curiously, it was just last week when the president wore a red hat that said, “Trump was right about everything!” and told reporters, “I know Gavin very well. He’s an incompetent guy with a good line of bulls—.”
Also available on Newsom’s clapback merch site is a tank top echoing Trump’s own words about a woman who will never, ever support him: Taylor Swift. “TRUMP IS NOT HOT,” it reads in bold red letters. The product description that follows: “A simple statement of fact.”
Three hours after the launch of the shop, Newsom boasted in an X post: “WOW! $50,000 IN PURCHASES ALREADY!! THANK YOU PATRIOTS!!!” By Monday, sales had doubled, according to a follow-up post.
Fox News coverage of the governor’s latest move in his troll-Trump campaign was low wattage compared with last week, when the conservative news outlet devoted days to Newsom’s “embarrassing” social media antics. How dare he refer to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by Trump’s mean nickname, “Meatball Ron.” That’s the president’s job!
Sunday it appeared Fox was determined not to show any big feelings over Newsom’s new MAGA-inspired line of merch. Will Cain delivered the news with a halting discipline and just a jab or two, calling the governor a “shadow” of their beloved leader. Newsom’s X account still ran with it, thanking Fox News for its coverage of his new cyber store. “Thank you for the promotion of our ‘FANTASTIC’ Patriot Shop, @WillCainShow !!!!!”
The Patriot Shop also lists a “Holy Bible” signed by “America’s Favorite Governor!” for $100, but it’s marked “SOLD OUT!” It harks back to when Trump marketed his own “God Bless the USA” Bible, which included the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I guess we’ll never know what Newsom might have included in his.
The site also features “The Chosen One” T-shirt, featuring an image of Newsom being prayed over by notable Trump supporters Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock and the late Hulk Hogan. Trump in 2019 declared himself “the chosen one.”
Newsom has been both heralded and chided for turning the president’s bully tactics back on the MAGA elite, but if social media response is any indication, it appears to be one of the few moves from an establishment Democrat that’s energizing the base and gaining attention on a national level. His taste-of-their-own-medicine campaign gained his X press account more than 250,000 new followers in August alone. And Newsom’s change in tactics has been at the top of news feeds for a week.
It appears Trump has clearly been triggered by Newsom. At a recent White House Cabinet meeting, the president said, “You have an incompetent governor in California. Gavin. I know him very well. … He’s a nice guy, looks good. [Imitating Newsom] ‘Hi everybody. How you doing?’ He’s got some strange hand action going on.”

She wrote in her caption: “It’s nearly Valentine’s Day.. what have you girls asked for?”
But one follower left a cruel comment following Jack’s six-week jail sentence, which he received after pleading guilty to two charges of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
He was released on bail on Wednesday, pending an appeal.
They wrote: “Roses are red, violets are blue, a Valentine who’s not jail would be nice too!”

Chloe soon retaliated: Lluckily for me mines at home.. and you’re here hating from your phone.”
Writing the troll’s username, she added: “”ears sunglasses to hide how much of an a** he is.”
While he appeals his sentence, Jack has beenfreed from a short stint in jail, and Chloe has shared she is sticking by him throughout the next stages.
Sharing a picture on Instagram of them cuddled on the sofa, Chloe simply wrote today: “Love you then @jack_charlesf”
In the snap, Chloe was seen snuggling into Jack’s cheek while they both stare at the camera.
She had previously cried in the courtroom when Jack’s conviction and sentence was read out, but he was released just two hours later.
Love Island winner Jack Fincham FREED on bail as he appeals jail sentence for dog Elvis’ attack on runner
A pal told The Sun: “When the judge handed Jack a custodial sentence Chloe screamed out ‘no’. She was hysterical and had to be supported by family members as she repeatedly said ‘what am I going do without my best friend?’
“Jack tried to reassure Chloe by putting a thumbs up but that did nothing to calm Chloe as she was supported out of court.”
“People forget how young Chloe is because she’s been on our screens for so long but it’s a lot to deal with for a 24 year old girl,” they added.
“She was willing to pay anything to get Jack out on bail and home with her.
“The shock of thinking they would have to spend six weeks apart has brought them closer together.
“Chloe is Jack’s rock right now.”
Jack’s sog Elvis bit runner Robert Sudell in 2022 in Swanley,Kent, and attacked a woman in Grays,Essex, last June.
Incourt, he admitted two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog, with one of the incidents causing injury.
After the first incident in September 2022, Jack attended a dog behaviour course, and was given three rules to follow in order to avoid further trouble.
These were to always keep the dog on the lead, for the dog to wear a muzzle when outside and to not leave the animal alone with anyone under the age of 16.
His failure to comply let to the second incident in June 2024.
As part of the sentence, Jack was also ordered to pay £3,680 – including £200 compensation fee to Robert and a £50 compensation fee to the other victim.
But in December, prior to the trial, Jack took aim at the police in now-deleted Instagram messages, claiming the authorities wanted to jail him because his dog “scared someone”.
He wrote: “So my best friend is gone in police kennels.”
Comparing his situation to that of a rapist who avoided jail because of overcrowding, he said: “This county is done. Work it out for fs sake.”
And under a pic of himself smiling with his cane corso dog Elvis, he wrote: “F*** Essex Police, scumbags and jobsworth c***s. See you soon.”

Cardi B had some choice words for the prankster she said called child protective services to her home. Among them was a warning: “You gonna see the evil side of me.”
The “WAP” rap star and mother of three put her anonymous troll and unidentified CPS department on blast early Tuesday morning during an expletive-riddled Instagram Live where she declared pranksters had taken things “too f— far.” Cardi B — who was streaming from a hospital bed, as she’s been “extremely sick” since the weekend — said child protective services representatives appeared at her gated mansion Monday evening responding to a call that her kids had “been getting abused and beaten.” Cardi B, who shares her children with ex-husband and Migos rapper Offset, has several homes but did not specify which one was the site of the CPS visit.
“This is when the pranks start getting too far,” she said, according to a nine-minute video on X (formerly Twitter). “It’s not funny.”
A representative for Cardi B did not immediately respond Tuesday to The Times’ request for additional comment.
The Grammy winner, 32, said she is the only person of color in her neighborhood and vowed to track down the person who called CPS. She added that she will sue both CPS and the anonymous caller. Detailing her plans to hire private investigators and legal counsel, Cardi B warned: “Don’t you ever in your f— life play with my f— kids.”
The alleged CPS visit occurred a month after Cardi B announced the arrival of her second baby girl and third child with Offset. The musicians and “Jealousy” collaborators also share daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3. Cardi B rejected the abuse allegations, noting that her kids “live great” and that she has never laid a hand on them.
She mentioned the tens of thousands of dollars in private school tuition she says she pays for Kulture and Wave and the hefty hourly rate for her newest child’s babysitter.
“We take very great care of our kids,” she said. “Don’t you ever … play with my motherhood or my ex-husband’s fatherhood.”
Offset and Cardi B might have gone their separate ways, after seven years of marriage, but the “Bodak Yellow” rapper said she would enlist her ex’s help to get back at the prank caller — with some stipulations. If the caller turns out to be a man, Cardi B said she would send Offset to beat him up. If it’s a woman, Cardi B said she would take matters into her own hands, literally.
She predicted the person would be on their knees begging her for mercy over what they may have thought was only a prank. “Don’t bring that s— in my home.”
