Two people have died and a third has been rushed to hospital after a shooting incident in Perth’s western suburbs.

A WA Police spokesperson said emergency services responded to reports of a firearm being discharged at a home on Berkeley Crescent in Floreat at about 4:30pm on Friday.

Two people were found dead at the scene, with St John WA saying another person has been rushed to Royal Perth Hospital under priority conditions.

Six ambulance crews still at the scene.

Police said the incident is now contained and there is no ongoing threat to the community.

Floreat residents near the street have told ABC Perth they heard shots fired near the scene.
