Occasional Digest - a story for you

Good evening from Chelsea

Welcome to SunSport’s live blog coverage of the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Tottenham at Stamford Bridge – Kostas here, and I will be bringing you all the live action from the London derby.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to take on his former club where he enjoyed a lot of success as he led Spurs to their first ever Champions League Final in 2019.

Pochettino’s injury crisis continues with Thiago Silva, who announced he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, ruled out with a groin problem.

Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Reece James, Levi Colwill, Carney Chukwuemeka, Raheem Sterling, Lesley Ugochukwu and Robert Sanchez are facing a late fitness assessment.

Wesley Fofana (knee), Enzo Fernandez (knee) and Romeo Lavia (hamstring) are all out for the rest of the season.

Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell are expected to be out with a knock and knee problem respectively.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, on the other hand, lost Timo Werner for the remainder of the season due to a hamstring issue.

Ben Davies’ campaign is also probably over after he injured his calf but Oliver Skipp is set to return for the North Londoners.

Manor Solomon (meniscus), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Fraser Forster (ankle) and Destiny Udogie (hamstring) are also out.
