Occasional Digest - a story for you

The body of missing camper Steven Clough has been found after a two-day search in Victoria’s high country.

Police on Sunday said Mr Clough’s body had been located on Big River Road, Enochs Point.

It is believed he was involved in a motorbike crash and the 58-year-old died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Mr Clough, from Waterways in Melbourne, had not been seen since leaving a Skipworth Reserve campsite at Kevington for a dirt-bike ride on Friday afternoon.

About 70 police officers and support staff spent the weekend searching for Mr Clough.

Police said they would like to thank the volunteers involved in the significant search that had been conducted.
