The TV star was branded “the strongest guy” by fans for opening up about his loss.

Dami, who was on the 2022 ITV hit, shared a selection of photos taken from the heartbreaking day.
The first photo was Dami in a black suit with a pair of black shades.
He gave fans a view into the intimate ceremony, including the inside of the church and the coffin itself after it had been lowered into the ground.
“The healing chapter: learning to live without him,” he wrote in the caption.
His followers flocked to the comment section, with one writing: “Be easy. Trust he gave you what you need.”
“May he rest in eternal peace my dear!” a second said.
“Looks like a great send off wish the best for you and your family,” echoed a third.
His girlfriend Indiyah Polack wrote: “You’ve done him sooo proud! God is watching over you and I’ll never leave your side – I love you”
Indiyah also shared photos from the funeral, including one of the two of them together.
“My everything one of the strongest men I know, I’ll never fail to be by your side forever and always,” she wrote.
Dami was left heartbroken following the sudden death of his dad.
He broke the news to fans on Instagram, with a photo of Babajide.
“There’s pain in my heart as I write this. Took me a while to actually say it out loud to the point at times I didn’t even know what to say.
“Nothing feels real, I keep praying I’m just in a fever dream and everything will be as it once was when I wake up.
“But I keep waking up to the same painful reality. I’ve lost my father. He’s no longer here anymore and it kills me inside. I would have done anything to have been able to keep him here!”
He went on to tell his fans what his father was like and how much he had inspired him.
Dami added: “Even in death, I will still look up to you. I’m happy I was by your side till the bitter end, I hope every word I spoke to you reached you.
“I love you dad and even though I’m my mom’s twin I’m most definitely my father’s son.”
Babajide was a council worker and was fully supportive of his on Love Island.
He leaves behind wife Bukola and six children, including Dami.
