Melbourne’s Jacob van Rooyen has overturned his two-match suspension following a marathon hearing on Thursday night.
The appeals board deliberated for more than two hours before clearing van Rooyen, who is now available to play for the Demons against Hawthorn on Saturday.
Van Rooyen overturned the suspension he was handed on Tuesday night following an incident involving Gold Coast’s Charlie Ballard in round eight last weekend.
