Molly Mae Hague has confirmed she is back with Tommy Fury in a new trailer for her upcoming series Molly Mae: Behind It All series 2, but issued a cryptic statement
“We’re back. Feels good,” the trailer starts with. “The balance at the minute of work and bambi is just a lot,” before Molly goes on to talk about her exhaustion.
The Maebe founder and Tommy shocked the worldwhen they announced their unexpected split last August. However, the pair found their way back together and have since enjoyed several family holidays with Bambi in destinations including Dubai, Budapest, and Turkey. They now appear to be happier than ever after working through their struggles, including Tommy’s alcohol troubles.
Later on in the extended trailer on YouTube, Molly and Tommy are seeing smiling coyly before Molly says “Tommy and I are back together, yes. But I never know what tomorrow is going to bring,” referring to Tommy’s past woes.
This comes after it was revealed that Molly reportedly bans ‘any mention’ of her fiancé Tommy Furyat her events. Staff working at her events and others are understood to be warned not to asked the Love Islandstar, who recently reunited with boxer Tommy after a brief split last year, about him.
Molly is now opening up in the next instalment of her fly on the wall series. Similar to the first instalment, which premiered back in January, viewers can expect to follow Molly-Mae as she tackles everything from her public relationship with Tommy to mothering their daughter Bambi.
The official synopsis teases: “With exclusive access, Molly embarks on an exciting new chapter as she takes her business empire to the next level while navigating the challenges of motherhood under the scrutiny of millions.” It continues: “Raw, relatable, and inspiring, this series reveals the insecurities and hopes of a young mum balancing fame and family.”
Series one focused a lot on their split after he admitted to issues with drinking, but the series ended with them having enjoyed a holiday together and trying to make the best of a fresh start.
Speaking at the end of series one, Molly said: “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything. But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.
“The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together. That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us. I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is my family. I know we have got something completely worth saving.” As the credits rolled she added: “But you never know what’s around the corner!”
The first three episodes of the six-episode series will drop on October 18th, with the rest of the season set to release in early 2026. This won’t come as a surprise to fans who tuned into the first instalment, which was also released in two parts in January and May.
Behind It All season one was huge success and became the most-watched series on Prime Video by young women in the UK, aged between 18 and 34. It went on to win the National Television Award for Authored Documentary in September.
Molly-Mae reigned victorious over the likes of Flintoff, which tells the story of sporting legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff; and Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, which dives into pro dancer Amy Dowden’s health battle.

“That’s a crucial market for the streamer to tap into.
“Viewers were obviously hooked by the ups and downs of her relationship with Tommy, but also inspired by her juggling her love life with being a mother to their young daughter as well as running a business.

A SEASIDE town made famous by former world heavy-weight boxing champ Tyson Fury is on the ropes.
Gritty ITV cop drama ‘The Bay’ attracts five million viewers, but has done nothing to restore Morecambe’s fortunes as a tourist and holidaying hotspot.

Dilapidated buildings, boarded up shops, closed hotels, and vandalised shopping arcades blight the Lancashire seaside resort.
And homeless down-and-outs, swigging cans during the day, plague the streets.
Morecambe FC has been besieged with talks of going under after 105 years, with the beleaguered club enduring a chaotic summer since being relegated from League Two, with staff and players not even paid.
Some football club workers have been offered food parcels. As it stands, the National League club is on the brink of extinction, though takeover talks continue.
Eden Project Morecambe – a sister to the popular Eden bio-spheres in Cornwall – is hoped to breath new life into the area and bring tourists flocking back to the resort. But that is at least three years away.
Crime and unemployment rate in Morecambe
Morecambe is the second most dangerous medium-sized town in Lancashire and among the top 20 overall in England and Wales, according to CrimeRate.
The most common crimes in Morecambe are violence and sexual offences, with 45 reports per 1,000 people – which is 1.87 times the national average for the 12 months up to May 2025.
For the same period, Lancashire Police recorded 475 reports of criminal damage and arson in the town – or 13 per 1,000 people.
And the crime rate for drugs is 1.26 times the national average at 3.87 reports per 1,000.
Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in Lancaster and Morecambe, sits at 4.4 percent, three percent higher than the average for North West England.
Brother and sister Liam, 14, and Lola, nine, were visiting Morecambe from their native Canada and were drawn to the vandalised and graffitied former shopping arcade, which is fenced off to the public due to a rusted and collapsing roof.
They were accompanied by their aunt and nan Kay Robinson, 73, who remembers the good old days of the seaside resort.
It used to boast such attractions as the Super Swimming Stadium lido, the pleasure park Frontierland and sea life centre Marineland.
“It’s gone down hill since the 1970s,” said Kay.
“There used to be fairgrounds, illuminations, an amazing swimming pool, there used to be everything. We liked coming here better than Blackpool.
Tyson Fury, 36, claims he will ‘NEVER’ return to boxing just weeks after announcing comeback and hints at new career
“Even the outdoor market has gone now. Everything has gone or is going now.
“You can’t go round the pubs like you used to, it used to be a great night out around Morecambe, but not now.”
Visitors love taking selfies beside the statue of the late comedian Eric Morecambe, which was unveiled on the promenade by Queen Elizabeth II in 1999.
Holidaymakers Paul and Alison Johnson, from Glossop, posed with grandson Ralphie, eight, as they enjoyed the summer sunshine.
Paul, 59, who has visited Morecambe over the years, said: “It seems to be getting cleaner, now this sea front has been done up.
“We have a caravan near here.”
Alison, 51 said: “It’s lovely in the sunshine.”
But directly opposite the iconic bronze tourist attraction stands reminders of the resort’s decline.

Standing side-by-side, Eric’s Cafe and the Tivoli Bar, are closed down at what should be the height of the summer season.
And the town centre, just a streets from the prom, is lined with abandoned shops, closed down pubs and eateries and empty banks.
A homeless rough sleeper was slouched by the entrance to the tired Arndale Centre, which stands beside a boarded-up pawnbrokers and opposite empty shops and the shell of the former Santander bank.
In a shaded doorway down a run-down street a couple of scruff-looking men, one sitting beside his crutches, were swigging from cans of super-strength Oranjeboom beers, as parents and kids walked past.
Back on the sunny promenade where the popular outdoor swimming pool, which used to be home of the Miss Great Britain beauty contest between 1956 and 1989, John and Lynda Ritchie were taking a stroll.
“This is where they are going to build the Eden centre, if it ever gets off the ground,” said John, 80, visiting with wife Lynda, 80, from Kendal.
“It can’t come soon enough. It’ll hopefully save the town.”
“We used to bring our lads here to swim in the pool, but it is such a shame what it is like now,” said Lynda.
“Hopefully things will change when the Eden Project comes, but I wish they’d hurry up, I’d like to see it.
“The place has very much gone down hill, as many seaside towns have since people started to go abroad.”

First-time visitors David and Lynn Buswell, from Leicestershire, were walking their Staffie Tyson – aptly named as Morecambe is the home town of former world heavyweight champ Tyson Fury – along the prom after parking up their motorhome.
“Never been here before. I’m here because my mum and dad had a photo taken with the Eric Morecambe statue and we want to recreate it,” said David, 64, a music producer.
“It looks like an average, typical English seaside town, nothing special. Okay for the kids, but not us.
“We will be parking up the motorhome for one night – not for two though. I think we will be moving on.”
Lynn, 69, said: “We have just come down from the Lake District, which was beautiful. This is a stark contrast.”
South of the town centre, the Cumberland View pub is boarded up.
Beside the former almost seafront railway station – closed now and turned into a pub – is the Festival Market.
Trains, no longer full or excited holiday makers and day trippers from West Yorkshire, now pull in to a dowdy wooden platform next to a boarded up former restaurant 500 yards of more inland.
Festival Market trader Karen Brown, 66, has been running her stall The Beauty Box for 50 years, and has seen the decline of the town. “The place has gone really down hill since the glory days. The job is tougher now,” said Karen.
“I don’t do too bad in summer with the tourists. They come to buy things. But, in winter, the locals don’t tend to to use the market. They should do, they’ll whinge if it goes.
“The visitors come round saying what a lovely market it is and they appreciate it, but the locals, not so much.”
Fellow market trader Julie Norris, 58, has run sweet stall, Sweet Tweets, for five years.
“I’m finding trading in Morecambe alright because all the other sweet shops are shutting down,” said Julie.
“The kids are coming here for their holiday treats. And we also do well from people coming here to buy snacks and sweets before going to the cinema next door.
“They don’t want to pay rip-off cinema prices so stock up here before going to see a film.
“I love working here and if the Eden Project comes it will be fantastic. It’ll be very family orientated.”
Tyson Fury
Fury is arguably the town’s biggest name, living in the area with his wife Paris and their seven children there.
Speaking last year, he told TNT: “17 years, it’s become my home. A new home, away from home. I actually cast myself now as from Morecambe, I don’t say I’m from Manchester anymore.
“It’s been keeping me grounded – I have always likened Morecambe to Alcatraz island… because if you go 200m that way you hit the sea, and if you go a couple of miles that way you hit the M6 motorway, and you’ve got to drive an hour to get to any city.
“It’s a big island, there’s not much distractions, there’s not much stuff to do, you can’t spend your money here because there’s nothing to spend it on, apart from Asda… That’s it, really, it’s a good place for a fighter…
“It’s kept me grounded, away from all the limelight.”
He added that locals are very respectful and leave him alone when he goes for runs. “If I go to any other city in the world, oomph Elvis has landed.”
The “Gypsy King” has previously expressed interest in buying Morecambe FC and told talkSPORT: “I was thinking I invest X amount of millions in them. Basically throw it at them and keep them going up. I’ve been offered to buy Morecambe Football Club.
“I own all the training facilities anyway and the training gym. So who knows? You might be looking at a football club owner.”
The Tyson Fury Foundation sits in the north-east corner of the football club’s Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
However, theTelegraphhas claimed that Fury currently has no interest in buying the Shrimps.

THE real reason for Molly-Mae Hague’s absence from Tommy Fury’s BBC show premiere has been revealed.
The social media influencer was missing from the launch of his brand new reality TV series which raised eyebrows despite the pair being back together and claiming to be at “they’re happiest”.

Molly also failed to mark the event on social media and shared no posts to support Tommy and his show.
But The Sun understands that Molly skipped the event as she was keen to not “overshadow” the launch of Tommy’s programme and let him have his own time in the spotlight following their up and down 12 months.
A source told The Sun: “Molly is keen to keep a low profile at the moment.
“She is obviously back with Tommy but it’s his night and doesn’t want to overshadow it.
“It’s been a funny time for Molly – she’s very thick skinned but she’s had a lot to deal with and isn’t used to backlash.”
A representative for Molly told The Sun that she was “away working” and very busy which caused her to miss the event.
Current social media snaps show Molly enjoying a sunny break away with her best pal, Tayla-Blue.
The best friend duo could be seen enjoying a relaxing evening by the beach with their children yesterday evening in snaps shared to Tayla’s social media feed.
One photo showed Molly and her daughter Bambi attempting to take a splash in the sea.
Whilst other snaps showed Bambi looking stylish on the beach.

Tommy Fury spoke about co-parenting his daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae Hague in the second episode of his new BBC Three series Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury

Former Love Island star Tommy Fury has revealed that he has a different approach to parenting compared to Molly-Mae Hague. He’s said that their daughter Bambi “knows she can’t get away” with anything when she’s with her mother.
The boxer, 26, spoke about being a parent in his reality TV show Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, which launched on BBC Three earlier tonight. In the second episode, filmed towards the end of last year following his split from Molly-Mae, now 26, he opened up about co-parenting whilst living separately from the content creator and Bambi, now two.
Tommy, who has since reconciled with Molly-Mae, said that it had proved “tricky” to co-parent since she moved out of the home they shared with their daughter. He then teased that Molly-Mae offered more discipline as a parent than him.

Amid scenes of Bambi staying at Tommy’s house with him, he said on the show: “Obviously it’s tricky because Molly’s at her house and I’m here at the minute. When Bambi’s here, it’s all me, and when she’s there, it’s all her, so it is tricky.”
Tommy continued by saying: “I’m wrapped around her little finger ten times so I’ll literally do anything for her. But at least with Molly she knows she can’t get away with it But with me, she definitely can. She can get away with murder.”
She told fans at the time: “I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day so you guys like actually just see … it’s like every single thing is a huge problem. Like [Bambi is] screams and can’t even get like socks and shoes on.”
He teased on Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury that he has a different approach to parenting than Molly-Mae Hague(Image: BBC)
Molly-Mae also addressed the suggestion that she’s “out of touch,” after complaining about struggling with parenting lately, in the same vlog. She said: “I don’t care who tells me I’m out of touch with reality or like all this stuff that’s going on on TikTok at the minute. […] I don’t care like I’m not gonna not talk about it.”
In the second episode of his show, Tommy also spoke about hoping to live with Molly-Mae and Bambi again in the future. He said: “You just dream of one day, y’know, them coming back and the house to be filled with joy again. Y’know, I hope that one day everything can sort itself out and we can live here as a family again.”
Tommy, who has since reconciled with Molly-Mae, had been co-parenting their daughter with her at the time(Image: mollymae/Instagram)
And in the first episode, Tommy spoke about them having moved out as he once again dismissed previous speculation that cheating had led to him splitting up from Molly-Mae. He said: “The reason for our end in the relationship was alcohol.” He said that he had been “drinking a lot” whilst unable to train after injuring one of his hands.
Tommy later said that he didn’t expect Molly-Mae to leave him. He went on to say that he was “drunk” when his fiancée and Bambi left their home, adding: “So I don’t actually remember it that well, which was even more upsetting.”
Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury continues on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer next Tuesday from 9pm. The first six episodes are available through BBC iPlayer now.
If you are struggling with alcohol abuse or addiction, advice and support can be found at alcoholchange.org.uk.
Nevertheless, the couple confirmed their separation last August following five years as a pair, with booze being disclosed as the reason behind their relationship’s collapse.
Lately, they’ve reignited their romance with Tommy providing an update during Tuesday’s edition of BBC Breakfast, reports OK!.

The 26 year old chatted to Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell regarding the current state of his relationship with Molly-Mae.
He revealed: “Me and Molly are in the best place that we’ve ever been in in our entire lives, even before all this. We’re do good now and it’s so nice to be in a healthy and loving relationship again.
“We’re keeping everything to ourselves and just enjoying what we’ve got and what we’ve created in Bambi.”
Yet the BBC presenter delved deeper into their present relationship circumstances, after Tommy’s proposal back in 2023.
She enquired whether they remained engaged as Tommy playfully responded: “Who knows?”.

Throughout their conversation, Tommy revealed the devastating moment involving Molly-Mae and their daughter Bambi, which made him realise he required assistance with his alcohol consumption.
Jon asked: “You say in the documentary that you don’t really remember the moment when Molly Mae said that she and Bambi were leaving because you’d been drinking.”
Tommy responded: “100 per cent, I was drunk that night and then it wasn’t until I realised I woke up in the morning and the house was empty.
“I thought, ‘right, this is no way to live, this is a serious problem, and if I don’t fix it, it’s going to get worse and worse and worse’.”
However, Tommy admitted that he would’ve done the same thing and doesn’t blame what happened as he pointed out that nobody would want to be around that situation.
Tommy and Molly-Mae shocked fans when they announced their split last year(Image: Instagram)
He added: “That’s not who I am anymore. I don’t have that relationship with alcohol where I want to be like that. It seems like I’m talking about a different person.”
Speaking about his daughter, Tommy told the two presenters that everything he does is for her. He remarked: “The fights that you take, the money that you earn, I’m over that.
“It’s not for me, it’s building the best life I can for that baby and hopefully other children, that’s my motivation now.”
All episodes of Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now and BBC Breakfast continues weekdays on BBC One from 6am
But the famous couple have rekindled their romance and continue to parent their daughter Bambi, two, together.
Now, it seems Zoe and Tommy’s relationship has improved after Molly-Mae showed them working out in the same gym with Bambi in tow.
She took to her Instagram stories to film Zoe showing her niece how to do a burpee on the gym floor.
In Molly-Mae’s next story, Tommy is running on a treadmill as Bambi looks on sceptically.
“I think she may feel the same about the gym as I do,” she captioned a close-up photo of Bambi’s face.
The three adults then went for a stroll in the town they were in, where Zoe and Bambi watched a local artist do some painting and the Tommy held his daughter on his shoulders.
Molly-Mae admits real reason she’s not filming with Tommy Fury after breaking down in tears on camera
Molly-Mae recently opened up to fans about the real reason Tommy doesn’t appear frequently on her vlog – like he used to prior to their split.
The influencer addressed criticism levelled at Tommy by some fans who accused him of being an absent dad.
In hurtful comments, they claimed that Molly’s sister Zoe, 28, is more of a father figure due to her regular appearance in the videos.
Ex Love Island star Molly explained: “I’ve seen so many comments saying ‘Zoe is more the dad’ I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80 per ceent of the week and he is with Bambi the majority of the week.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury – Reunion Clues
MOLLY-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are on holiday in Dubai after splitting in August. Yet have they dropped clues about their reunion before?
“But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it’s just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we’re a family.
“I just think like we’re not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I’m not ready to vlog like we used to.”

WE’RE about to jump head first into another long hot summer, brimming with bikinis, fire pit chats and cringe new slogans, with the sultry tones of Iain Stirling’s “tonight… on Love Island” wafting through our living rooms.
And while that might spark excitement for diehard fans like me, there’s also a creeping sense of deja vu – because once again, despite vocal feedback from viewers, we’re getting the same recycled formula: a villa full of 20-somethings and influencers.

Olivia and Alex were a success story – but an Insta following wasn’t a guarantee on their seriesCredit: Rex
This year’s summerLove Island cast is a who’s who of social media stars. There’s from Sophie Lee’s popular Instagram account, Helena Ford’s travel diaries, and TikTok personalities Megan Forte Clarke and Aaron Buckett.
Megan Moore and Rose Selway also boast impressive followings – the latter rubbing shoulders with Love Island alum, thanks to her celeb-favourite tweakment clinic. And then there are the 20-year-old’s among the cast, who are apparently “looking for love,” on the show.
Now I’m not saying you can’t fall in love and meet ‘the one’ at 20 – Olivia Bowen was just 22 when she met her now-husband Alex Bowen, and Love Island superstars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were only 21 when their jacuzzi date turned into one of the show’s most iconic love stories.
But things were different then. Love Island wasn’t a guaranteed career launchpad. A deal with PLT was a bonus, not a certainty.
Now, those going on the show have seen the roadmap to fame paved before them, and enter the villa with eyes on the prize – and the prize is not love.
Frankly, there really aren’t enough success stories to say that casting 20-year-olds on the show is a winning formula. In fact, Love Island is more likely to move to Canvey Island at this rate, than it is to find a couple of 20-year-olds who put all their eggs in each other’s baskets.
So doesn’t it feel a bit odd that we’re all sat, every night from 9-10pm, investing all our time into people who, let’s face it, are on the show to further their followings, and not to recreate a storyline out of a Nicholas Sparks novel?
Would it not be more rewarding to watch people in their 30s, – those who may be genuinely starting to question if love is still out there- given a real shot at finding their someone? It would surely make the show a lot more relatable for a lot of people, instead of seeing influencers sling one-liners at each other on a Balinese bed, before heading into the outside world to land a situationship and a podcast deal.
And nostalgia for the old Love Island is running high on social media. Viewers seem keen to bring it back to the days of construction workers and fishmongers walking onto our screens, not people who are friends of a friend with an Islander, or have famous football star dads and brand deals lined up.
Love Island 2025 cast revealed as footballer, actress and beauty influencer who cheated death sign up
But let’s be honest, you can hardly blame the 20-year-olds and influencers for going on to the show.
Of course, given half the chance, they’re going to want to further their careers on the UK’s biggest dating output. You’d take one look at Molly-Mae’s business empire and flashy mansion, Olivia Attwood fronting huge TV shows, and Tasha Ghouri strutting her stuff on Strictly and think, I want a slice of that. And if you’re presented with a stepping stone to pop you closer to fortune and fame, wouldn’t you jump onto it?
Still, it’s starting to undermine what Love Island was originally about. It’s less of a search for soulmates, and more a talent pipeline for the nextPrettyLittleThing ambassador or social media star, as opposed to sourcing the UK’s most enviable romance story.
But then you could also argue, if it’s not broken don’t fix it?
Love Island winners – where they are now
EVERY year Love Island opens its doors to more sexy Islanders who are hoping for a holiday romance that could turn into more.
I just worry that it will become broken, that people are starting to fall out of love with the island of love.
As a huge fan of the show, I’m not ready to switch off just yet.
But I no longer watch with rose tinted glasses, I watch with a lot more scepticism than I once did, which is a shame. I find myself trying to decipher between showmance and serious, instead of sitting back and enjoying the chaos of it all.
And I guess the big question is, can Love Island ever get back to how it once was? Can people still find true love over fame? Well we could at least give it the best chance to prevail by choosing age and career wisely when casting.
Maybe then we could rekindle that magic of the earlier seasons, you know, the ones that made Love Island iconic in the first place.

Molly-Mae Hague has reportedly signed up for a reality show – her first since she went on Love Island several years ago – amid her reunion with partner Tommy Fury

Molly-Mae and Tommy’s relationship was loved by fans and the pair enjoyed a long romance following the show, even welcoming their daughter Bambi. However, they split last year – before eventually rekindling their romance.
She has since appeared on her own ‘behind-the-scenes’ documentary series, where – in the first part – she documented her split from Tommy. In the second part of the series, she discussed being back with Tommy.
Molly-Mae recently confirmed she was back with Tommy after their holiday. She said: “Dubai was picture perfect, like it was just the best trip ever. It literally just felt like everything I wanted it to be, and more.

“It was exactly what we needed. All the noise of everyone just switched off, everyone’s opinions. Nothing mattered. It was just like us in our bubble. She [Bambi] had the best time ever.”
She then added in her Amazon Prime series: “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything. But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.”
Now, Molly-Mae has reportedly signed up for the celebrity version of The Great British Bake Off. She is appearing on the Stand Up To Cancer special alongside some other big names.
The Great British Bake Off is co-hosted by Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding(Image: Mark Bourdillon Love Productions)
“She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love Island glamour to the tent. Molly’s now one of Britain’s biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the dating show back in 2019,” a source told The Sun.
During the documentary, Molly-Mae’s sister expressed her concern that Tommy wasn’t able to handle his drinking problems – which both him and Molly-Mae have spoken out about in the path.
“Yeah, obviously he knows it’s the drink. He’s not drank now, like for what four months. But no, I don’t think the drink’s gone away forever. Could drink still be a problem for us? Potentially yes. But the break-up showed I was serious,” Molly-Mae said.
“I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave. And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”
IN 2015, 12 twentysomething singles walked into a Majorcan villa for the very first time – and viewers fell head over heels for Love Island.
The premise was simple: couple up and don’t get dumped, to win £50,000.
Ten years on, psychologist Dr Louise Goddard-Crawley says: “Love Island rewired the way we think about love, attraction and even language. It normalised enhanced beauty.”
With the 12th series kicking off next Monday, here we look at how the show shaped the nation.
SKIMPIER SWIMWEAR

THE Islanders’ clothes — or lack of — made us reassess our own poolside wardrobes.
Thongs stole the show in 2018, with contestants including Laura Anderson and Georgia Steel wearing the painful-looking cheese-string variety.
Sales of thong bikinis subsequently soared as the nation got on board.
But a family-friendly pool in Lincolnshire banned customers from wearing “thongs or see-through” garments, dubbing it the “Love Island effect”.
In 2019, Molly-Mae Hague and Yewande Biala helped spark an underboob revolution, while 2022 contestant, Antigoni Buxton, inspired us to turn swimwear tops on their head, with searches for “upside-down bikini” rising by 203 per cent.
Sun Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend says: “At the start of each series I’m hit with a barrage of emails from retailers reading, ‘Get the Love Island look’ as they all quickly roll out the on-trend swimwear for that year.”
MAKE-UP RITUALS

AS well as putting their love lives under the spotlight, the Islanders revealed their beauty hacks.
In 2018, Dani Dyer brushed her false eyelashes with a spoolie and blasted them with a hairdryer to give them a fluffy look.
The following summer, Molly-Mae sparked the top-knot trend after she gave a tutorial on how to achieve her trademark hairdo, while in the show’s Beach Hut.
And last year, Ella Thomas changed the way we cleanse our faces when she blew on a cotton pad soaked in micellar water — causing the liquid to foam.

BOOB jobs, fillers, Botox — you name it, a Love Island contestant has had it.
Every summer, fans take to Google to see what islanders looked like before their tweakments, with bombshell Megan Barton-Hanson’s transformation one of the most talked about.
The “Love Island Effect” has been blamed for a boom in the number of women — many of them young or even teenagers — seeking cosmetic procedures.
One plastic surgeon said that requests for dermal fillers increased twelve-fold after last year’s series. Demand for other tweakments at High Street salons is up 31 per cent in five years.
However, many former contestants such as Molly-Mae and Shaughna Phillips have had their filler dissolved.
Adam Collard was accused of ‘gaslighting’ Rosie WilliamsCredit: Rex Features
THE show has made headlines over the years for demonstrating the problematic and toxic behaviour of both men and women.
In 2019, domestic abusecharity Women’s Aid accused Adam Collard of “gaslighting” Rosie Williams by denying he was flirting with Zara McDermott, who he later ended up with.
Similarly, in 2022 the charity was “forced” to speak to ITV after being tagged by viewers in social media posts criticising Luca Bish for his “misogynistic and controlling behaviour” towards screen partner Gemma Owen.
Earlier this year, media watchdog Ofcom received thousands of complaints about All Stars contestant Elma Pazar’s “alleged bullying” of co-star Ekin-Su Culculoglu during an argument.
However, the pair were soon shown working through their fall-out before making up.
THE LINGO

REMEMBER the time when “muggy” referred to the weather and “my type on paper” was just a font?
The show’s catchphrases have left a lasting impression on the English language.
“The ick”, made popular by Olivia Attwood, was added to the Cambridge Dictionary in 2024, defined as “a sudden feeling of dislike or loss of attraction towards someone or something”.
Linguist and interpreter Ana Clarke says the show’s own lingo has even helped British men drop the stiff upper lip and better express emotions.
She said: “Now we see younger males talking about their feelings. They talk about ‘my type on paper’, ‘being mugged off’, ‘keeping their options open’.
“They often talk about relationships and use the word ‘journey’.”
Other terms popularised by the show include “pied” (to be dumped); “it is what it is” (that’s the situation); “putting all my eggs in their basket” (focusing on one person); and “melt” (liking someone so much that you don’t mind embarrassing yourself to prove it).
MENTAL HEALTH
10
Former presenter Caroline Flack’s suicide threw ITV into turmoilCredit: Rex
SADLY, Love Island has been hit by a number of tragedies, which highlighted how reality TV shows that thrive on conflict and emotions can harm the mental health of contestants.
After the suicides of former Islanders Sophie Gradon (series two) and Mike Thalassitis (series three) and presenter Caroline Flack within a period of 20 months, ITV was thrown into turmoil.
Bosses introduced new duty-of-care protocols including pre-show psych-ological and medical assessments, training on social media impacts and ongoing support both during and after the programme aired.
Following Caroline’s shock death early 2020, Love Island and its sponsor JustEat replaced advertising with messages from charity Samaritans.
PR expert Nick Ede said: “ITV understood that they do have a duty of care. They put in place stringent guidelines to really support each of the contestants.
“After Caroline, it was important for them to support their viewers as well.”
A STAR IS BORN

Ovie Soko poses for Asos after signing a brand deal
A BEVVY of beauties have found fame on the show — becoming some of the our most talked about and successful celebs.
Even the losers have walked away winners thanks to lucrative brand deals or showbiz gigs.
Nick Ede says: “They are kind of relatable. Millions feel they could be with them or be on Love Island.” Season five runner-up Molly-Mae has been the most successful influencer.
She has made an estimated £6million from deals with Pretty Little Thing, L’Oreal and Beauty Works.
She now has a daughter with her Love Island boyfriend boxer Tommy Fury, her own clothing line and a docuseries with Amazon Prime Video.
Alex and Olivia Bowen have a son and are worth almost £10million, mainly due to sponsored Instagram deals. Maura Higgins has fashion and beauty deals and hosts a US Love Island spin-off.
Olivia Attwood makes document-aries and a podcast.
CUT-OUT dresses and co-ords and, for men, spray-on jeans were all popularised on the show.
The early seasons’ contestants were dressed by sponsors including fast-fashion retailers I Saw It First and Missguided, but it soon sparked a backlash.
In 2022, the show made headlines by announcing it would now dress the Islanders in pre-owned outfits from eBay, to promote more sustainable shopping habits.
PR expert Nick Ede said it was a savvy move by ITV to appeal to eco-conscious Gen Z.
“It opened them up to a whole new generation,” says Nick. “We know younger audiences are more conscious when it comes to clothing.”
ONE SIZE FITS ALL

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan became the first black couple to be crowned winnersCredit: Rex
YOU can’t deny there is a stereotypical Love Island look.
While the show has included contestants such as Tasha Ghouri, who is deaf and wears a cochlear implant, raising awareness around her disability, it has been criticised for failing to include any plus-size contestants.
Dating coach Eimear Draper says: “TV shows such as Love Island are putting a huge amount of pressure on beauty standards. For those who already struggle with self- esteem, this is concerning.”
Eimear, founder of Kindling Dating, adds: “All the women look the same with their bikinis, tanned skin and long, flowing hair.
“The Love Island guys likeChris Hughes are all hunks. They are buff. They, too, are tanned and tattooed.”
Young blokes have been warned by the group UK Anti-Doping not to resort to performance-enhancing drugs to achieve “ripped” physiques,
Periodically, Love Island has also been accused of tokenism, with often only one or two black contestants each series. Last year, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan became the first black couple to be crowned winners.
LET’S TALK ABOUT SEX
10
Alex Bowen and Zara Holland have sex on TV in series 2
IN the early days, the show was a bit of a bonkfest.
Ofcom received complaints about one couple getting busy in front of their rival housemates in series two.
And Miss Great Britain Zara Holland was stripped of her pageant title after getting it on with Alex Bowen.
Series three winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were also at it like rabbits.
In 2018, producers decided to stop showing sex scenes. Nowadays, you might just get a glimpse of a headboard banging or happy feet under the sheets.
But experts reckon the show has, in some ways, sexually empowered women.
Therapist Sergio Rebelo says: “Many women on the show are unafraid to talk about their bodies and sexuality. This can encourage others to discuss their own sexuality.”
Case in point: Maura Higgins talking about which of the men gave her “fanny flutters”.
Then there’s ex-stripper Megan Barton-Hanson, who was on Love Island in 2018 and later paired up with Ann Summers to launch her own range of sex toys.
MOLLY-MAE Hague is celebrating turning 26 in serious style – by jetting off to Disneyland Paris in a private plane.

Molly-Mae gave fans a glimpse into the lavish getaway – complete with champagne on board and a Mickey Mouse cake.
Wearing Minnie Mouse ears and a designer outfit, the star looked every inch the birthday princess as she soaked up the magic of Disney in VIP style.
The influencer shared snaps of the her and her daughter Bambi posing in the park, calling the trip “the most perfect birthday eve.”
In a YouTube video, Molly-Mae described the ordeal as a “weird bad dream” and how it was completely out of character for her to speak about it so candidly.
She also told how it came just hours after she’d been pictured rowing with fiancé Tommy, 26.
The former PrettyLittleThing creative director explained that after arriving back in the UK, she had very little movement for two days – first due to the long-haul flight, then sitting through a seven-hour hair appointment.
Along with dehydration and stress from travelling with her daughter Bambi, two, this led to severe pain in her left leg.
Molly-Mae said at the time: “Basically yesterday I thought I had a blood clot and half of today I thought I had a blood clot in my leg.
“Obviously flying home from Dubai I was on the plane for like nearly eight hours… I didn’t drink like hardly any water. You know when you’re in mum mode and you’re just not really thinking like you’re trying to tame your child.”
Watch as Molly-Mae reveals the moment she rekindled Tommy Fury romance by accident
She began to panic after feeling excruciating pain in the back of her knee that moved into her calf and foot.
After turning to ChatGPT to query the symptoms only made her more anxious, she then phoned 111.
From there, Molly-Mae was then told by a doctor to go straight to A&E.
She continued: “I was in so much pain, like it was in the back of my knee, so so strong. Like it didn’t feel like a dead leg, it was like a sharp stabbing pain…
Molly-Mae Hague – Five Ways She Spends Her Wealth
MOLLY-MAE Hague has raked in a whopping £48K a week. Yet what five things has the mum of one spent out on?
“Then it’s moving down into my calf, into my ankle, into my foot, like my whole calf is just in so much pain.”
The reality star described the hospital as “absolutely packed” and “such a sad environment”, saying she waited four hours before being told it would be another hour for a blood test – and then three more hours to get results.
Despite being advised by staff to stay, Molly decided to leave, worried about getting home in time to look after Bambi.
She said: “I need to leave. Like I can’t stay here any longer… We had like nothing with us this morning.”
Molly-Mae admitted upon waking up the the next day, the pain had mostly subsided, and she tried to carry on as normal – until she was hit with a wave of dizziness, nausea, and shortness of breath later that afternoon.
She described: “I had this awful awful like dizzy spell where the room was spinning. I thought I was going to vomit… I had this really really funny time where I was like I couldn’t breathe properly… almost like a bit of a panic attack but like it was just horrible.”
The star went back to hospital and underwent a full round of tests, where, thankfully, everything came back clear.

Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and his wife Paris are set to get a huge boost following his latest retirement as they open their doors for their own Netflix show once again

At Home With The Furys, which aired on Netflix in 2023, saw Tyson try to embrace retirement with wife Paris and their seven children. The no holds barred show followed the family’s lavish holidays and A-list encounters but also their reality of changing nappies and doing the school run.
It was a hit with fans the first time around, as Paris received huge praise for manning the household while Tyson focused on his career. Now, the pair are hoping to reach the same success again with a brand new series.
The show will follow Tyson and Paris with their seven children
In series two, Tyson, 36, will give retirement another shot, having previously announced his retirement several times before, only to return to the world of boxing.
There will also be a family road trip to Monaco to invest in a racehorse. Series one featured Tyson’s younger brother Tommy Fury alongside his fiancee Molly-Mae Hague.
However, since appearing on the show, Molly-Mae and Tommy shocked fans with their breakup last summer. The couple, who are parents to two-year-old daughter Bambi, have slowly been rekindling their relationship.
During their separation, Molly-Mae filmed her own candid TV show with Amazon Prime. Molly-Mae: Behind It All saw the influencer try to come to terms with single life as she navigated her career and motherhood.
However, her recently released part two saw her confirm her romance with Tommy is back on. She told viewers: “I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave.
“And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”
Not to be left out, Tommy is also getting his own show. Earlier in the year, the BBC announced a new “candid, access all areas” documentary series about the life of Tommy.
Tommy: The Good, The Bad, The Fury will see the professional boxer return to the ring and has promised to take viewers into “every aspect of his life”.
Teasing the series, the BBC said: “Just a year ago Tommy Fury seemed to have it all – victory over his biggest adversary Jake Paul, love with Molly-Mae and a beautiful baby daughter, Bambi. But in his last fight he damaged his hand and, unable to train, his life span out of control.”
The documentary filmed Tommy as he trained for a fight after a year away from the sport, featuring unprecedented access to the Love Island star and his inner circle.
Tommy said: “A lot of people see me in the ring, they see me on social media, but they don’t see ME – the person behind all of that.
“I’m excited for everyone to finally be able to see what goes on behind the scenes, how the big fights are made, all the ups and downs as well as a glimpse into my private life.”
MOLLY Mae and Tommy Fury look very much back on track after she shared a loved-up photo of them with daughter Bambi.
The couple, who split in August last year, confirmed this week that they were working on their relationship, having enjoyed secret holidays together and nights at each others’ homes.

Molly and Tommy have confirmed they’ve quietly reunited
Now it seems that Molly is opening up and willing to make the relationship more public once again, sharing intimate pictures of a family-filled weekend.
Posting to her Instagram Stories, Molly can be seen cuddling up to two-year-old Bambi, while also sharing videos of their day playing.
But the most telling photo was Bambi, Molly and Tommy all together sharing a kiss while holding ice creams on the street.
Although Tommy’s face is covered up, the adorable picture is the clearest sign yet that the couple are back on track.
Speaking on her Prime Video documentary series, Molly Mae: Behind It All, Molly confessed that she had been privately rekindling her relationship with Tommy.
In a new batch of episodes this week, Molly shared pictures of a family getaway to Dubai, and the pair’s efforts to make their family dynamic work.
She told the cameras: “Dubai was picture perfect, like it was just the best trip ever. It literally just felt like everything I wanted it to be, and more.
“It was exactly what we needed, I think. All the noise of everyone, just, like it just switched off. Everyone’s opinions, nothing mattered. It was just like us in our bubble.”

“Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything,” Molly insisted to cameras.
“But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. Like that’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.”
“The dream is still the same that you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in the house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together,” she concluded.
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us. I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is, my family.
“I know that we have got something completely worth saving…. but you never know what’s around the corner!”

The fight was Fury’s first since his clash with KSI in October 2023Credit: Getty
Nerves would’ve been jangling for Fury before he made his ring walk due to his 18-month hiatus.
But he outboxed his Bosnian bruiser of an opponent to pick up his first win since his narrow victory over KSI in October 2023 via unanimous decision and move to a perfect 11-0.
Fury opted for a cautious approach in the opening stanza, throwing several probing jabs behind feints.
Hanjalic was all too happy to operate on the back foot and strategically blitz Fury.
Fury’s speed advantage was apparent in the second, with his in-and-out movement frustrating Hanjalic.
The jab continued to be Fury’s best weapon as Hanjalic struggled with its speed.
Although he easily got out of the way of several telegraphed right hands.
Fury allowed Hanjalic back into the fight by taking his foot off the gas.
And the Bosnian was all too happy to close the distance and work in the clinch.

Fury looked to let his hands go in the third but found himself engaged in yet more energy-sapping clinches.
An accidental low blow from Fury brought about a pause in the action, much to the frustration of dad John.
Tommy Fury SHOVED by opponent Kenan Hanjalic as face-off for comeback fight turns tense
A bloodied Hanjalic recovered from the foul but looked like he wanted out after the restart.
Fury had his dome rattled midway through the fourth by a hellacious right hand.
But Hanjalic’s good work was undone seconds later when he had a point deducted.
Fury’s best shot of the fight came moments later in the form of a left hook.
But he failed to capitalise with a follow-up shot, which Hanjalic called for.
Conerman John urged Tommy to “relax with his shots moments before the fifth round.
And his son obliged in the few moments he wasn’t caught up in a Hanjalic clinch.
Rather than look to put a stamp on the fight, Fury opted to operate on the back foot and look for counters.
That invited yet more pressure from Hanjalic, who was shaken to his core by a big right hand seconds after a body shot.

Tommy Fury return to boxing headlines tonight’s coverage in Budapest as he takes on fellow pro Kenan Hanjalic following an 18-month hiatus from the sport, if not on your screens.
Fury, 26, would have liked to imagine his boxing career would be on the fast track to world champion status by now. He has the name, size and style to make it at boxing’s top table, but evidently the drive has eluded him as he has gone from boxing to reality TV star.
TNT is more known for his on-and-off relationship with fellow celebrity partner Molly Mae than his 10-0 record, but tonight’s dust-up with Bosnian Hanjalic – a replacement for Darren Till – is an opportunity to re-focus attention towards the ultimate craft.
Also in action, Fury’s brother, Roman, will step in the ring for the fifth time in his career against Josip Pehar in the penultimate fight of the night.
The card is expected to get underway at 7.30pm BST with Valentin Koloszar vs Alexandru Ionita and Varadi Sandor vs Nikolas Panic before the Fury bouts.
Fatal Fury
Tommy Fury has fired a warning shot at his opponent as he prepares to make his boxing return.
He told DAZN: “I just want to get into the ring and settle into the fight to be honest.
“I’m in no rush. If I could get a few rounds it would be good because I’ve been out of the ring for so long.
“It’s kind of nice being under the lights as long as I can.
“But obviously, if I see the openings, then it could be the first 10 seconds and I’m going to take it. It just depends what happens.”
Fury feeling good ahead of return
The Manchester-born fighter showed off his shredded physique as he celebrated his birthday yesterday.
Fury posted a snap on social media looking ripped as he stood in a lift without a shirt on.
Ahead of tonight’s showdown, he celebrated his 26th birthday with a post on Instagram.
Fury looked in incredible shape in the picture, wearing just a pair of shorts.
He suggested that his training camp has been a success and that he is “feeling the best”.
Molly-Mae Hague and her sister Zoe Rae have opened up on their rollercoaster relationship following Molly’s reunion with ex-fiancé Tommy Fury
Molly Mae facing ‘trickiest time ever’ with sister Zoe(Image: Prime)
Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about the “trickiest time ever” with her sister Zoe Rae. During Part 2 of Molly Mae’s Prime Video Documentary, Behind It All, the sisters talk about their growing relationship.
The pair have made no secret that their relationship was up and down while they were growing up, as they revealed Bambi brought them much closer together as sisters. “We did used to argue before Bambi a lot,” Zoe previously said on one of Molly’s YouTube videos.
“I found you more irritating I think, before you had Bambi,” Zoe admitted, as Molly laughed: “I do still find you irritating.”

Later on in the episode, Molly spoke about her desire to have another child, although Zoe was quick to remind her how she said she never would have had a kid with Tommy if “this was how it was going to be.”
As Molly agreed there would have to be a change, it all got to much for her as she’s seen walking off, telling her family that they were being annoying.
Later speaking about her current relationship with Zoe to the camera, Molly says: “I’d say Zoe and I have gone through the trickiest part of our relationship ever. Trying to navigate our sister relationship through mine and Tommy’s break up, and where she sits in my support system.”
Zoe hasn’t held back in voicing her opinion on Molly and Tommy’s turbulent relationship, telling the cameras she just wants her sister to make the right decisions.

She added: “Sisters need to be able to tell each other everything.” Before Molly fumed: “Right, then I need to be able to tell you the good, the bad and the ugly.” Zoe went on to say: “Your relationship and how you feel and how you are with Tommy is my only concern.”
“Nothing I do or say to you is going to change what you do, your opinion or how you feel towards him,” Zoe continued. “I know at some point Mol, in the next year, however long it is, there will be a time, where unfortunately, and I hate to say it – you probably will be upset again.”
Speaking to the camera, Zoe continued: “I would always, always, always, 100 percent be there for her but I do worry for my relationship with her if they were to get back together, definitely.”
However, by the end of the series, it seems Zoe is coming round to Molly and Tommy being back together – as Molly revealed Tommy feared Zoe “despised” him – which she denies.
“I’ve always said he’s a lovely person. He makes me laugh, he’s polite, he’s kind, he’s a great dad. I’m happy to move forward with Tommy if you two could be together and him treat you well,” she says.

After months of anticipation, the second part of Molly-Mae Hague‘s Prime Video documentary has been released – and it’s no short of drama.
The second half of the series documents the reunion between Molly and Tommy Fury, after their shock breakup last August. However, the reunion didn’t come without problems, including a clash with her sister, Zoe Rae.
Rumours of a reunion between the former Love Island stars started spreading when the pair were spotted sharing a kiss together on New Year’s Eve. Now, viewers will see the story behind the kiss, and the moment Molly found out it had been leaked to the world.
Molly also reveals where her and Tommy’s relationship stands now, and what their future holds, following their “perfect” family holiday to Dubai.
Molly’s bad accident

It’s not just the drama with Tommy that Molly has to deal with, as the show also documents a freak accident that had the 25-year-old had to deal with.
In one tense scene, Molly is seen on a horse at a riding lesson – however, the animal picks up speed and begins galloping. Panicking, Molly screams: “I’m scared, I’m scared, I’m scared,” and just seconds later she’s seen falling off the horse and banging her head on a wooden fence – leaving the crew in a panic.
However, everyone breathes a sigh of relief when Molly gets up a few seconds later, although she herself was frightened for her life.
Speaking to the camera, Molly-Mae explains: “I’m just happy to be alive because when I went down, all I saw was black. I thought, ‘Hospital job’.
“Tommy is going to say I told you so. He always says, ‘Be careful with animals.’ My a**s cheek isn’t ok though. It’s going to be black.”
Clash with sister Zoe

The series showcases the ups and downs of Molly and Zoe’s sisterly relationship, which appears to be hugely affected by Molly’s relationship with Tommy.
Big sister Zoe explains how all she wants is for Molly to be treated right, as she explains how she’s been on the other end of the phone when a distressed Molly couldn’t get hold of Tommy during his nights out.
“Sisters need to be able to tell each other everything,” she says, before Molly-Mae, 25, fumes: “Right, then I need to be able to tell you the good, the bad and the ugly.”
“I know at some point Mol, in the next year, however long it is, there will be a time, where unfortunately, and I hate to say it – you probably will be upset again,” Zoe contiues.
“I know I’ll have to have another baby at some point, because there’s just no way I’m having her being a single child, I’ve seen her play with other children. Like, she lights her up,” Molly says while preparing for Bambi’s second birthday party.
Towards the end of the series, after their “perfect trip” to Dubai, Molly reveals: “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything.
“But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.
“The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together.
What really happened with Tommy on New Year’s Eve

This New Year’s Eve, the showbiz world went into detective mode when Molly and Tommy were photographed kissing at Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw’s party in Cheshire. Although the two kept quiet at the time, Molly’s reaction to seeing the photo leaked online was captured on camera.
“What’s happened is I’ve attended a New Year’s Eve party and a familiar someone showed up like ten minutes before countdown and that was Tommy and basically, we shared a moment, we shared a kiss at midnight,” she says. “And it would appear that someone has taken a video and it’s basically been sold to the press.
“It was just a moment that we shared. I can’t really explain it. It kind of just happened. You think you’ve had a private, intimate moment, and nothing is private. Even in a room full of people that you trust and that you know, people like to make a quick buck.”
Speaking about the people who sold the video, she added: “I’d love to know how much they did make, I hope it was worth it anyway. Karma always comes back around with these, don’t you think?”
The public weren’t the only ones grilling Molly on the kiss, as her manager Fran asks what went down, as Molly insists: “He turned up at ten to 12. I swear, he wasn’t meant to be there. He messaged me saying, ‘I’m outside, I want to see the New Year in with you.’ I kid you not Fran, he was there for eight minutes. He was literally not there. He wasn’t there all night.”
