My husband is refusing to have an open marriage – so I’m forced to have bisexual affairs

DEAR DEIDRE: MY stuck-in-the-mud husband is refusing an open marriage – so I’m forced to have bisexual affairs.

I’ve always been attracted to both men and women. In fact, my first relationship was with a girl I met at college. We’d skip class to go back to her flat for an afternoon of slow, sensual sex.

When that relationship ended, I had a few flings with men and women, then I met my husband in a pub.

I’m 29, he’s 38. On our first date I told him I was bisexual. He was fine with it, which gave me the impression he was open-minded.

Our relationship moved quickly and we got married after a year.

I always thought our sex life would get kinkier and more exciting, but it hasn’t turned out that way. If anything, getting married has killed the spark.

Instead of coming to bed with me, he began staying up late, playing on his PlayStation.

Upstairs, alone and frustrated, I turned to casual-sex sites for company. I started secretly sexting other women and soon I was meeting them for dates.

I’ve now had several affairs with women — from one-night stands to longer flings — and every encounter has proved to me that I can’t keep denying my bisexuality.

I finally told my husband I wanted an open marriage. I thought he’d be keen.

After all, he’d have the freedom to enjoy other people, too. And some excitement outside the marriage might spark things up at home.

But he’s refusing to even think about the idea.

DEIDRE SAYS: Regardless of your sexual orientation, seeing other partners on the side is cheating.

I can see why you felt hurt by his lack of interest, but the person you should have talked to was him, not sexy strangers online.

Even though you were open about being bisexual, it seems your husband thought he was committing to a monogamous relationship.

And while an open marriage might satisfy your sexual needs, it won’t magically improve things with your husband.

I’m sending you my support pack Non Monogamy to read together.

You’ll see that for open marriages to work, both partners need to be secure in the relationship, excellent communicators and able to completely trust each other.

You’re not ticking all those boxes so far.

If you value your marriage, stop cheating and start talking to him. My support pack Cheating – Can You Get Over It? will help.

You can’t force your husband to open up your marriage, and if he still refuses to consider it, your choices are: Work on your sexual relationship together, or call it a day.

WIFE HAS BANNED SEX FOR EVER

DEAR DEIDRE: AFTER 28 years of ever-decreasing sex, my wife has announced she has “done her duty” and that we won’t be making love any more.

I’m 63, she’s 57 and we have two grown-up children.

Our sex life has always been unfulfilling. I’ve only ever been allowed to make love to her once a month.

It always followed the same routine: She’d come out of the bathroom naked and lie on her back with her eyes shut. I’d get on top of her, and we’d have sex in silence.

Then she would put her pyjamas back on and we’d both go to sleep.
I foolishly hoped it would improve, but it only got worse.

The sessions dwindled to once every six weeks, then every three months, and now nothing.

We’ve had many happy years together, but if I ever went anywhere near her, or even wanted a kiss, she would make me feel like a sex pest.

I’d never be unfaithful to her, but I feel like she cheated me.

A few years ago she finally confessed that she loved me but she hated sex.

She hadn’t admitted this from the start because she’d been worried I wouldn’t marry her.

I still love her, but now I’m trapped in a sexless marriage with no hope of it ever getting better.

DEIDRE SAYS: There are many possible reasons why your wife dislikes sex.

She might be asexual and feel no sexual attraction at all. She might have suffered trauma or abuse in her past, even in her childhood. She may have had a very strict upbringing where sex was seen as “dirty”.

Or she may just not have discovered her own sexuality.

All these things can be explored and improved in sex therapy. The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (cosrt.org.uk, 020 8106 9635) can provide you with details of how to access sex therapy near you, or online.‬‬

I’m also sending you two support packs that will help.
Afraid To Have Sex? is written for women, and their partners, who have issues with their sexuality.

It includes exercises women can use to unlock their own desires. If you read this together, it might help you both to understand your wife’s reluctance.

And Reviving A Woman’s Sex Drive gives advice and explains non-threatening, gentle exercises you can do together.

BOOZE BATTLE

DEAR DEIDRE: IN my new job, there is a very boozy culture. Every night there are after-work drinks, and the office fridge is stocked with beers.

On the staff WhatsApp group everyone – even the boss – makes jokes about being drunk on the job.

I’m a single woman, 22. Before I joined this team, I hardly drank. Now I’m regularly downing two bottles of wine or five or six cocktails a night.

When I try to skip a night out or stick to soft drinks, my colleagues tease me until I give in. I’ve started waking up with the shakes and needing vodka with my morning coffee.

What should I do?

DEIDRE SAYS: Ignore the teasing. You are drinking to excess.

According to the latest government guidelines, men and women shouldn’t regularly drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week.

The amount you are consuming could have a serious, long-lasting impact on your health.

Use the MyDrinkaware app (drinkaware.co.uk) to track the units in each drink and work out a plan to cut down.

FAMILY FORUM

DEAR DEIDRE: FOR years my in-laws have been trying to break up my marriage. Now the stress of it is making my husband ill.

We’re both in our 50s and we have a grown-up son.

The trouble started 18 years ago when we got engaged. Instead of being happy for us, his mother began spreading lies to convince everyone I was only after his money.

Eventually my husband cut off all contact with her. We didn’t speak to her for years.

When our son was born we called a truce so she could see her grandchild.

Years passed and we all seemed to be getting along quite happily. I thought the bad times were over. Now they’re back with a vengeance.

My father-in-law’s health has declined recently, so my mother-in-law has decided my husband should move back to their house – 150 miles away – and become their live-in carer.

They’ve even turned the garage into a bedroom for him. Naturally it only has a single bed.

He is refusing, but my mother-in-law is ramping up the pressure, even threatening to cut my husband out of their will unless he does what he’s told.

My husband works a demanding full-time job. This added stress is giving him dangerously high blood pressure and panic attacks.

DEIDRE SAYS: Family problems can be stressful, but you can support each other through this.

I suspect your mother-in-law has been holding a grudge for many years because your husband chose you over her.

It probably made her see you as a threat. In her mind, you’re not a daughter-in-law, you’re a rival.

Now she’s using emotional blackmail to try to get him back home where she feels he belongs. A lot of her behaviour is abusive.

Your husband was able to cut his parents off before and it might be that he has to do that again for the sake of his health.

I know it may not be easy for him to contemplate, but he’ll probably find his life is more peaceful as a result.

Have a look at Stand Alone (standalone.org.uk), a charity that supports those estranged from their families.

SECRECY WOES

DEAR DEIDRE: I AM heartbroken that my girlfriend broke up with me for being too secretive.

Without telling her, I went away for a weekend. When I got back, she was really hurt and angry, and she dumped me.

I’ve always been a private person. I choose to compartmentalise my life as I prefer to keep the different areas of my life separately.

I’m 31 and she’s 33. I would never cheat on her but I just don’t feel the need to reveal every second of my day. Is that unusual?

DEIDRE SAYS: It is unusual to compartmentalise your life when you’re sharing it with someone else. Relationships need communication to survive.

I understand that you’re a private person, but it would not have compromised your privacy to tell your girlfriend you were planning a trip.

How would you have felt if she’d gone away without telling you?

With some openness, you could get through this together. But if she refuses to consider a reconciliation, you will need to respect her decision.

Production on the third series of the drama began this month with Vicky, 41, on set in London.

But fans may have to wait a while before things go up in smoke.

The newest installment is slated for a January 2026 release date – though viewers will be hoping to get in on the action sooner.

Earlier this week ITV gave an update on the show’s latest series.

Vicky will be, once again, reprising her role as Expo Lana Washington for the six-part series.

Also returning to the hit show will be cast members Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara.

The third series will also feature Jamestown’s Jason Flemyng as a guest star.

Comprising of six episodes, viewers will see Lana and her team investigate a bomb threat that soon reveals itself to be the start of a sinister vendetta.

Very soon they learn that someone is targeting individuals and demanding revenge.

Working alongside the Police Counterterrorism Unit, the Bomb Disposal Squad race against time to find the bomber before they claim their next victim.

Sir Keir Starmer’s foreign plane trips in first three months of him being PM cost taxpayers £700,000

SIR Keir Starmer’s foreign plane trips in the first three months of him being Prime Minister cost taxpayers almost £700,000.

It is £161,000 more than the combined bill his predecessors Rishi Sunak, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss ran up in their equivalent periods.

And he has spent more time abroad in his first six months than any of them in their early months when they were PM.

The analysis of Government records by the Mail on Sunday comes after the Labour leader’s trips earned him the nickname Never Here Keir.

Luke Tryl, of polling company More In Common, said the PM “hasn’t done a good job of explaining why his trips benefit people at home”.

Government records state his trips include one to New York at £236,020.

Others include visits to Rome, Dublin and Berlin, and to Paris and Washington.

He was also accompanied on a flight to Berlin to see the Euro 2024 final.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s flights cost over £900,000 from July to September, in line with his predecessors.

Female cop sacked after drunkenly groping two male colleagues on boozy night out at Wetherspoons

A FEMALE cop has been sacked after drunkenly groping two male colleagues on a boozy night out at Wetherspoons.

PC Tia Johnson-Warne, in her 20s, grabbed PC A above the knee and moved her hand up his thigh, a tribunal heard.

When he moved away, she sent a text asking, “don’t you want to f**k me?” and an intimate picture, it was said.

Later, she rubbed her hand over the crotch of PC B for around 20 seconds in the pub at Ryde, Isle of Wight.

The Hampshire officer, whose then-cop boyfriend was also in the pub, was found guilty of gross misconduct but cleared of another grope on PC A.

She was put on the College of Policing Barred List at the hearing in Eastleigh.

Deputy Chief Constable Sam de Reya criticised Johnson-Warne for her “inappropriate behaviour”.

She said: “It is deeply troubling that an officer has acted in such a shameful manner.”

“Nobody should be left to feel like these officers did because of a colleague’s degrading actions, regardless of whether you are on or off-duty.

“Her persistent unwanted advances irrevocably damaged their working relationship and caused unnecessary harm to the two individuals. The public expect better from police officers and our force.

“We are rightly held to a higher standard and whether we are on the beat or at a social event, the same standards apply and our actions are a reflection on policing as a whole.

“It is therefore right that PC Johnson-Warne is no longer a serving officer.”

MOLLY-MAE Hague joked about getting back in the saddle with partner Tommy Fury — after being thrown from a cantering horse.

The reality star, 25, who has not spoken publicly about his alleged cheating, told a startled film crew: “If I can take him back, then I get back up and can do this.”

She said after steed Paddy, which she is in talks to buy for £7,000, unseated her as cameras rolled for an episode of her series Behind It All.

It happened during a horse-riding lesson at Somerford Park in Congleton, Cheshire.

A source said: “Luckily, Molly-Mae wasn’t hurt but there was an intake of breath from crew as she blurted out a reference to taking back Tommy.

“She was saying if she can get over the heartache she’s faced, then literally getting back on the horse won’t be a problem.”

Keen rider Molly-Mae and boxer Tommy, 25, met on Love Island in 2019 and their first date was spent horse-riding.

The couple had a daughter, Bambi, in 2023 but the relationship hit the buffers last year amid talk of his cheating.

She could take “only so much” she said.

However, as we told, they kissed on New Year’s Eve and are believed to have reunited.

International rugby player jailed for raping woman after saying he was gay to get asylum in UK

AN international rugby player has been jailed for raping a woman — after saying he was gay to get asylum here.

Uganda winger Philip Pariyo, 32, played at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow but failed to return to Africa, alleging he would be persecuted for being homosexual.

But he later had a girlfriend in Cardiff and then raped another woman.

Pariyo, who worked as a binman in the Welsh capital, repeatedly badgered his victim for sex before forcing himself upon her at her flat in 2021, a court heard.

He then went with her to buy the morning-after pill the following day and asked her to buy condoms so they could have sex again.

Pariyo denied rape but was found guilty following a trial at Cardiff crown court and was jailed 4½ years.

In a victim impact statement, the woman said: “No one in the world should go through what I did, fighting and begging for my life.

“It has left lasting impacts on me, and has felt like an open wound that I can never heal from.

“It’s made me feel dirty, numb and tainted.

“He invaded my body by force and branded me from within. He became an unwanted part of my body that I can’t get rid of.

“No one should fight like their life depends on it for something as simple as consent.”

The court heard his asylum status would be “adversely affected” by his sentence.

How to improve your skillset with apprenticeships to be a cut above in 660 careers

IMPROVING your skillset is a great way to find, and keep, a job – and getting paid to upskill through an apprenticeship is the perfect way to do that.

Monday is the start of National Apprenticeship Week, the annual celebration designed to shine a light on the “earn as you learn” schemes.

This year’s theme is Skills For Life.

While traineeships traditionally centred on manual trades, nowadays there are courses in some 660 types of work, from fashion studio assistants and digital marketing specialists to AI and nuclear engineering.

Apprenticeships mix on-the-job training with classroom learning, meaning trainees gain professional qualifications without incurring any debt.

Training can last from 12 months to six years, with courses ranging from the equivalent to a GCSE right up to a masters degree.

Three quarters of trainees study A level or above and around half of apprenticeships are begun by people over the age of 25. Some starters are in their 60s.

As the courses are designed by employers, trainees also gain the most up-to-date skills each industry needs, boosting their career prospects.

A recent government study found 98 per cent of firms employing apprentices report that they benefit the business, while 86 per cent say it has helped them build the skills their business needs.

Baroness Smith, Minister for Skills, said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic option for employers looking to recruit skilled workers across every sector of the economy.”

Despite the difficult jobs market, research by skills platform O’Reilly reveals that half of firms are increasing investment in apprenticeships.

So if your business is considering taking on an apprentice, what do you need to know to get it right?

1. Create a supportive learning environment: Foster a workplace culture where apprentices feel comfortable asking questions, seeking guidance and learning from their experiences. A nurturing environment accelerates professional growth and builds confidence.

2. Provide a clear development structure: Ensure apprentices have structured development plans outlining the skills they need to gain. Regular progress reviews help align their learning with both their aspirations and the organisation’s needs.

3. Offer meaningful mentors: Pair apprentices with experienced mentors who can offer them industry insights, care advice and ongoing support. Mentorship is invaluable in bridging the gap between education and hands-on experience.

4. Encourage open communication and feedback: Establish channels where apprentices can voice their thoughts and provide feedback on their experiences. A culture of openness ensures there is continuous improvement in the apprenticeship programme.

5. Recognise and reward success: Celebrate apprentices’ achievements, whether that is through formal recognition programmes or simple praise. Acknowledging their progress boosts morale and reinforces a positive learning culture.

WAYS TO GET YOU NOTICED

APPRENTICESHIPS are ever more sought after, so how can you make your application stand out and be one of the 700,000 enrolling each year?

Claire Costello, Chief People and Inclusion Officer at supermarket chain Co-op, says: “Preparing your application is an important first step.

“This signals to us that you are serious about joining our team and contributing to our success. So make it count.”

Here are her top tips . . .

1. Tailor your CV and covering letter. Ensure both sell you for the specific role you are targeting. Highlight skills, experiences and qualifications that directly relate to the job. Avoid generic statements and focus instead on what makes you a unique candidate for the particular position you covet

2. Show passion and enthusiasm. In your cover letter and interview, explain why you are drawn toward your intended role, company and industry. Say how your values align with this, and what excites you about the opportunities for learning.

3. Demonstrate relevant skills and experience. Even if you have not had a formal job, you can highlight applicable skills. For example, cite evidence of teamwork, communication abilities and problem-solving, as well as leadership of school clubs, volunteering and other personal projects. Be specific about your achievements and how they relate to the apprenticeship.

4. Research the company you are applying to. Learn about its mission, values and work. Mention your findings in your application to show you are invested in the company and have taken time to under-stand its culture and goals.

5. Highlight “soft skills”. Technical knowledge is important but your ability to communicate, adaptability and time management will also be highly valued in apprenticeships.

6. Provide evidence of learning. Mention extra-curricular activities, online courses, workshops and hobbies that show desire for self-improvement

September 5 film review: This thought-provoking film is full of moral dilemmas but is no Spielberg’s movie Munich

September 5

(15) 95 mins

★★★★☆

GEN Z is going to be confused by this historical drama set way back in 1972.

At the centre of the story is a TV producer who makes circular motions to dial phone numbers, expects everyone to answer his calls and asks the question, “Can we show some people being shot live on television?”.

Film still of Peter Sarsgaard, Ben Chaplin, and John Magaro.

4

4

The terrorists during the real massacre back in 1972Credit: Alamy

In fairness, the latter is pretty much the daily diet of social media these days.

September 5, starring Ben Chaplin and Peter Sarsgaard, is a reminder that there was a time when just the thought of showing such horrors would shock the world.

In this pacy movie based on a true story we get the perspective of a TV crew covering the terror attack on Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

A team of sports journalists from US channel ABC found themselves best placed to report what was going on.

The moral question boss Roone Arledge (Sarsgaard), senior producer Marvin Bader (Chaplin) and rookie Geoff Mason (John Magaro) have to wrestle with is how much to broadcast live.

Will showing too much help the terrorists? Will it hinder the police? And what about the relatives of the hostages watching back home?

Roone seems to care more about the whopping audience figure of 900million he gains.

Director Tim Fehlbaum does a good job of taking a non-judgemental approach to all these thorny issues.

Instead, this tense drama puts the audience in the shoes of those involved and allows events to unravel.

Munich Olympics massacre – when was it, what happened and how many people died?

But Fehlbaum doesn’t follow the advice that Roone gives to Geoff while putting together the coverage of the hostage taking.

Roone says that human stories need to be told.

September 5, which received a Best Original Screenplay Oscar nomination, doesn’t really do that on any level.

We don’t find out much about the TV crew’s personal lives.

Nor do we ever get to see the Jewish hostages. As a result there will be little emotional connection between cinemagoers and characters on screen.

It also pales in comparison with Steven Spielberg’s 2005 visceral movie Munich, which is a far more passionate take on the ramifications of the 1972 Games attack.

Nonetheless, September 5 is a thought-provoking film that shows anti-Semitism is a constant threat.

Bring Them Down

15 (106 mins)

★★★☆☆

SALTBURN’S Barry Keoghan and Wolf Man’s Christopher Abbott play two feuding Irish shepherds in this violent thriller which makes Clarkson’s Farm look like a walk in the park.

Abbott’s Michael O’Shea has to deal with an invalid dad with a terrible temper (Colm Meaney), the theft of his best rams and what appear to be the neighbours from hell.

Film still of Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott in a truck.

4

Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott play two feuding Irish shepherds in Bring Them DownCredit: PA

They are Keoghan’s Jack Keeley and his father Gary (Paul Ready from Motherland), who try to bump his 4×4 off the dirt-track road following a row.

Trying to keep the peace is Caroline Keeley (Nora-Jane Noone), who has a romantic past with Michael.

Director and writer Chris Andrews shows Michael’s side of the story before switching to Jack’s perspective halfway through.

It’s a nice idea which doesn’t quite come off, and I was left asking what the flock is going on at points.

Even at the end I was confused as to why so many poor sheep faced such a grisly end. If you are looking for some strong, gritty acting, Bring Them Down is worth a watch.

But if you are upset by cruelty to animals, even if it’s not real, this requires a trigger warning.

The Seed of the Sacred Fig

(15) 167 mins

★★★★☆

UP for Best International Feature at next month’s Oscars, this subtitled family thriller set in Iran could do with some gentle pruning.

The Seed Of The Sacred Fig tells the story of Iman, who is promoted to the role of investigating judge just when the despotic regime is gripped by protests about the death of a young woman in custody.

Still from the film *Les graines du figuier sauvage*, showing a man and woman in an intense conversation.

4

The Seed Of The Sacred Fig is up for Best International Feature at next month’s OscarsCredit: Alamy

At work he is asked to agree to the death penalty in cases he’s barely had the chance to consider.

At home, his two teenage daughters are questioning the brutal treatment of the country’s youth.

When Iman’s pistol goes missing he suspects his wife and daughters – and must choose between his family and his job.

Directed by Mohammad Rasoulof, who fled persecution in Iran, this tale asks why the Islamic republic is turning on its children.

But the point is over- laboured, and too much time is spent on the whodunnit element of the story.

Thankfully, the acting is excellent, with Soheila Golestani as the mum caught in the middle particularly impressive.

And viewers’ patience will be rewarded by a heart-stopping ending.

Army ‘should down tools’ fumes ex-Major as coroner rules SAS’s killing of four armed IRA terrorists was unjustified

A CORONER sparked fury by ruling SAS soldiers were unjustified in killing four armed IRA terrorists.

Ex-SAS Regimental Sergeant Major George Simm said the British Army “should down tools” in protest.

The IRA gang members, armed with assault rifles and heavy machine gun, were killed soon after firing on a police station in 1992.

The SAS ambushed them as they pulled into the car park of a church in a stolen truck at Clonoe, Co Tyrone.

At the legacy inquest in Belfast, Coroner Justice Michael Humphreys ruled yesterday the SAS unit’s use of lethal force was unjustified.

He said the troops did not have an honest belief that it was necessary to prevent loss of life.

Kevin O’Donnell, 21, Patrick Vincent, 20, Sean O’Farrell, 22, and Peter Clancy, 21, were killed.

Mr Simm, 70, the most senior enlisted SAS soldier at the time, said: “If the judge thinks it unreasonable to use lethal force when terrorists are armed with an anti-aircraft weapon that could shoot through two houses, perhaps he could enlighten us on what is reasonable.

“And until that time the whole British Army should down tools.

“How can the Government, how can the country, expect soldiers to do their duty if they know they will be dragged through the courts for the rest of their lives?”

The soldiers involved — all now in their mid to late 60s — have not been named.

Simm, awarded a DSO gallantry medal in the 1980s, said they were all “disillusioned and confused”.

Watch shocking moment IRA’s Martin McGuinness sets off a car bomb

Mr Justice Humphreys rejected the unit’s “demonstrably untrue” claims that the IRA members opened fire in the car park.

The families’ legal team said they would “consider the verdict regarding any prospect of prosecutions”.

Sir Keir Starmer accused of national sabotage with his plans to surrender Chagos Islands

SIR Keir Starmer has been accused of national sabotage with his plans to surrender the Chagos Islands.

Concessions offered to Mauritius include doubling the initial £9billion cash handout for the 99-year lease of the Diego Garcia US military base.

The country’s PM Navin Ramgoolam also said that he would have a right to veto any move by the UK to extend it by a further 40 years.

Shadow Cabinet Minister Robert Jenrick said last night: “This is traitorous levels of national sabotage from Starmer.”

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch added: “Starmer’s foolish deal gets worse every minute.

“He is surrendering British territory and paying for the privilege.”

READ MORE ON CHAGOS ISLANDS

Mr Ramgoolam has suggested that annual payments will be frontloaded and rise with inflation, potentially doubling the £90million-a-year bill.

He said: “We have to be inflation-proof.

“What’s the point of getting money and then having half of it by the end.

“This is what would happen, we have made the calculations.”

Downing Street said the UK would “only agree a deal that is in our national interests and protects our national security”.

It holds assets of nearly £1million, according to submitted accounts.

Bonneville, 61, and Williams, 57, split up in 2023 after 25 years of marriage.

They have a son, 23-year-old Felix.

Hugh moved out of the family’s West Sussex mansion following their split.

The star, who played the Earl of Grantham in Downton, said of her: “Lulu’s priority has been to be a bedrock for Felix and me and I’m completely indebted to her.”

The couple met as teenagers but their romance blossomed after they reconnected later in life.

Paddington In Peru star Hugh once said: “Lulu was running a marquee company… my mother rang her to hire some chairs or something and said, ‘Do you remember Hugh?’ and that was how we reconnected.

Major change to online fat jab sales in bid to stop people pretending to be obese to get drug

ONLINE fat jab sales will be tightened up with video or face-to-face chats mandatory under new industry rules.

Pharmacies selling weight loss injections have been told to get a patient’s GP medical record or do proper visual size checks.

The General Pharmaceutical Council said too many people are pretending to be obese online to get the drugs.

The independent regulator has designated GLP-1 receptor agonists — including Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro — as high-risk medicines.

Guidelines limit their use to the obese, with a body mass index above 30, or overweight people with health problems such as high blood pressure.

But some slimmers wanting to shed weight fast pretend to be larger to get the £140-a-month supplies.

More detailed checks beyond a form and photo aim to prevent this and to protect people with eating disorders.

Pharmacies breaking the rules face fines, sanctions or being struck off.

The jabs mimic a hormone created when you are full, slowing digestion and preventing cravings. Side-effects include vomiting and diarrhoea.

Duncan Rudkin, chief of the GPhC, said: “We’ve seen too many cases of medicines being supplied inappropriately and putting people at risk.”
