Who is Nelly from Married at First Sight UK 2025?
Nelly is a 30-year-old cosmetic dentist from Manchester.
In a teaser trailer for the new series, she is shown having one of the most dramatic entrances ever seen on the show.

The 30-year-old narrates the video by portraying her nervousness about the reaction of her soon-to-be husband.
She says: “If he doesn’t react well to my entrance, I’d be devastated…

Described as “Outspoken, confident, and warm”, Nelly has been single for over a year and is now ready to search for true love.
She “knows what she deserves” and is looking for a man who is “strong, emotionally intelligent, and not intimidated by a woman who knows exactly who she is.”

Who is La Voix?
La Voix, born Christopher Dennis, is a dynamic performer, presenter and vocalist.
She first rose to prominence in the entertainment world as a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.
La Voix later gained international acclaim through appearances on shows including Queen of the Universe and Queens For The Night.
In 2024, La Voix was a fan favourite and runner-up on the sixth series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, earning four RuPeter Badges for winning multiple challenges, including the Snatch Game and a musical Rusical performance.
Growing up in Stockton-on-Tees, La Voix moved to London aged 18 to study drama at Brunel University before training in musical theatre at the Urdang Academy.
Her career spans decades and includes performances worldwide on over 80 cruise ships and regular pantomime roles.

While drag performers have appeared in the program’s Christmas specials before, La Voix is breaking new ground by joining the main line-up.
Speaking with the BBC, La Voix said: “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement, and quite a bit of terror, than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV.
“Strictly is a national institution, and I can’t wait to get started.
“All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”
La Voix also told Radio 2’s Scott Mills: “I can’t dance, I’ve always said it’s not my thing.
“I’ve managed to get through 20 years of being on stage by standing in the centre and having dancers choreographed around me, now I can’t hide behind that any more.”
Who else is on Strictly this year?
The 2025 Strictly Come Dancing line-up includes a stacked cast of celebrities alongside La Voix:
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (Olympian and Gladiator)

And it was a result that reduced Hunt to tears with her podium finish being so unexpected.
SunSport can bring fans up to speed on the British sprinter’s background.
Who is Amy Hunt?
Born on May 15, 2002, Amy Hunt is a British sprinting sensation who was raised in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Hunt rose to prominence when she set a new world record of 22.24 seconds in the Under-18 women’s 200m race in Mannheim, Berlin during the summer of 2019.
The talented Brit then went on to win gold medals in both the 200m and 4x100m at the European Under-20 Championships.
But then sadly, her transition into senior athletics was disrupted by COVID-19 before a serious leg injury in 2022 put her out of action for several months.
However, Hunt returned to the track late in 2022 and by 2024, the super sprinter found herself securing a bronze medal at the 2024 Diamond League in Stockholm.
She then went on to picking up her first title as part of GB women’s 4x100m team that took gold at the European Championships in Rome before finishing second in the 100m at the 2024 British Ahtletics Championships in Manchester.
All of the above helped Hunt deservedly earn a spot for Team GB at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and her spectacular leg saw the Brits win a second medal in the 4x100m relay.
Now fast forward a year later, Hunt stunned the world by coming second in the 200m women’s final at the World Athletics Championships.

What did Amy Hunt study at Cambridge University?
In 2020, Hunt started an undergraduate degree at Cambridge University.
She went on to graduate with a degree in English in 2023, where she was a Corpus Christi Alumna.
This delayed Hunt’s sprinting training as it only allowed her to start practicing in early June 2023.
However, she came fifth 5th in the 100m final at the British Championships and was part of the winning U23 British 4x100m relay squad in Espoo, Finland.

And Pedro’s opening strike was a major talking point with it coming in the NINTH minute of stoppage time despite only eight minutes being added.
Elsewhere, Brentford had drama of their own as they most recently lost to newly-promoted Sunderland courtesy of a 90+6 stoppage time Wilson Isidor penalty after leading the game up until the 77th minute.
So they’ll be itching to get back on track with a win and hand one of the only remaining undefeated sides a loss at the Gtech.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca initially thought his £30million transfer from Ipswich would miss six to eight weeks.
But it is now clear he will miss significantly more than that.
The Athletic report Delap will not return to training until November.
Dario Essugo, Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile are all set to the miss the London derby.
As for Blues talisman Cole Palmer, it is still unclear whether he’ll return after missing both the clash against West Ham and Fulham as well as pulling out of the England side.
PADDY DONOVAN will be hoping to right some wrongs when he takes on Lewis Crocker once again for the IBF welterweight title.
Donovan, 26 thought his title dreams had come true when he delivered a big right hand to knock Crocker down during their first encounter.

But to the dismay of the Irishman, he would quickly learn he had been disqualified by referee Marcus McDonnell, who deemed his punch to be AFTER the bell in the eighth round.
Speaking after the fight, Donovan said: “It’s not easy to get the fight out of your head. It’s not really the fight, it’s the aftermath … Coming out of the ring, the emotions setting in and seeing different reactions from the crowd.
“This part of my journey doesn’t really happen to many fighters. You either win fair or you lose fair.
You either win, get knocked out or knock out somebody and you just move on. It was like I won the fight but didn’t get the result. That’s the way I felt deep down.”
Six months later, Paddy will get a second shot at Crcocker and SunSport can let fans know exactly how to watch it.

Matthew Boreland vs Ruadhan Farrell (Irish super-bantamweight title)
What has been said?
Crocker feels as if he has been written off despite winning the first fight.
The heavy-hitter told DAZN news: “It does change. The last fight was seen as a 50-50 fight. I feel like everyone has written me off for this fight.
“I’ve got to be better from the last time around. I’m feeling very confident going into this fight. Fight week is always busy, and I’ve always got stuff to do. I’m used to it now.
“But the main part is on September 13th. It will be exceptional on the pitch, with the crowd. It is going to be such a huge occasion for everyone and for the city of Belfast.”

Joel Dommett reveals huge NTA’s shake-up that will shock fans

“I wanted our closest friends and family to have a wonderful time.”
Not long after they began dating, Joel released a memoir – It’s Not Me It’s Them: Confessions Of A Hopeless Modern Romance – which charts romantic encounters with 40 women before he met Hannah.
The mum guilt thing is real, definitely, and if I’m not feeling guilty, then Joel will be feeling guilty, so we’re probably not that helpful to each other.
Speaking to The Sun about being a mum for the first time, Hannah told us: “The mum guilt thing is real, definitely, and if I’m not feeling guilty, then Joel will be feeling guilty, so we’re probably not that helpful to each other.
“There are times when he’ll say, ‘I’ll look after Wilde. Go out and have fun’. Then he’ll send me a message saying, ‘Look at this photo of Wilde’, and I’ll go, ‘Damn it, I was in the zone with the girls’.
“It is difficult managing it but you’ve got to switch off and take an hour for yourself, then you’ll feel better for it.”
Talking about the possibility of another child, she added: “I really would love to, but Joel before was like, ‘one is good’.
“One means we’re in control, and we can totally manage that.
“But now Wilde is here, I would totally love another one.
“I feel like Joel is Wilde’s sibling. I feel like there is enough fun in the house, and there is enough drama and energy going on.”

And on what he thinks about 2025’s prize shortlist, he added: “It’s the best the shortlist has ever been since I’ve hosted it. I genuinely don’t know which way it’s going to go.
“That’s what’s really exciting about the NTAs — it’s shows, those things that are loved by the public.
“It’s not decided by a panel or a committee. It’s the people at home — it’s what they like, it’s what they watch.”
The plan is for the cricket to be paused at 3pm to ensure it does not distract the players.
What have the English Cricket Board said?
An ECB spokesperson said: “Plans are in place to ensure fans attending the Utilita Bowl on Sunday are aware of the national test of the emergency alerts system, which is due to take place during the third England Men’s Metro Bank ODI vs South Africa.
“We will work with match officials ahead of the game and take appropriate action depending on the state of the game.
“Fans will be kept updated with in-stadia announcements as the game progresses.”
Why is the alert test happening?

SMALL details can sometimes lead to the biggest headaches when it comes to air travel.
And when it comes to passenger names on a booking, getting these right is key if you want everything to go smoothly at the airport.
6
Each airline has its own rules on name changesCredit: Getty
Airlines have a right to deny boarding to anyone who’s ticket doesn’t match their ID, and some travellers have been denied boarding for failing to correct this ahead of their flight.
So whether you need to correct a typo or transfer a ticket to a different person entirely – here are the name change rules for different airlines, made simple.
6
Ryanair allows name changes up to two hours before if made at the airportCredit: AFP
Ryanair
Low-cost airline Ryanair allows changes to names up to 24 hours before a flight’s departure time if processed online, and two hours before if done at the airport desk.
Both of these options will incur a name change fee: £115 on the website and £160 through an agent.
read more on airline rules
If you notice a minor mistake within 48 hours booking you can correct up to three characters in a name free of charge – but more substantial or later changes will carry a price tag.
Maiden and married names are the exception here.
Ryanair will amend a name at no extra cost if your surname has changed on the document you are using for travel.
Editing a booking to be in someone else’s name is also possible, but not if one of the flights on the booking has already departed (for example, if you are already abroad and trying to make changes for your return flight).
Those name changes that fall within 48 hours of booking and over 24 hours before flying can be made on the Ryanair website or app by clicking ‘Manage this booking’ and selecting ‘Change a name’.
But if you’re already checked in, you’ll need to contact the airline and pay the slightly higher price.
easyJet
easyJet also allows name tweaks, letting passengers correct titles and spelling mistakes of up to three letters without any fee.
6
easyJet name changes can be made for £60Credit: Alamy
The airline is slightly more lenient than Ryanair with this, as it does not have a time limit of 48 hours after booking.
You can do this on either its website or app under ‘View Bookings’.
Changes of more than three characters or a whole name can also be made, but a fee will be applied per passenger, per flight.
The cost is £60 for online amendments and £65 for going through the customer service team.
And in the event of needing a very last-minute change, easyJet gives you a little more time than Ryanair by allowing requests at the airport desk up to 90 minutes before departure.
Jet2
British airline Jet2 has a more restrictive policy when it comes to name changes.
Only the lead passenger can make edits and absolutely no changes are allowed after check-in.
It does have the same three letter rule as easyJet and Ryanair – allowing minor tweaks for free – but the fee that applies for more major changes can end up being higher.
While amendments made 14 days or more ahead of the flight time only cost £50, changes made after that will cost £150 plus any fare difference since the booking was made.
This means that if the price of your flight has gone up and you request changes just days before your trip, it could be significantly more costly than £150.
Jet2 also does not allow for any name changes within 48 hours of flying, so you have less flexibility.
If you are within the permitted window and wish to go ahead with a change it’s easy to do this through the ‘Manage My Booking’ function on its app or website.
6
Some airlines will ask you to also pay the fare difference on top of a change feeCredit: Getty
Vueling
Vueling is fast becoming a popular choice for budget-friendly flights, with many European destinations on its roster.
It also offers different fare options from Basic to Flex.
Name change fees for Vueling are dependent on which you have purchased – if you have a Basic plane ticket, a full name swap will cost you €50 (roughly £43).
And similar to Jet2, you may also be charged the difference if the price of your flight has increased.
However, if you paid for a Flex ticket the total price might be lower as you will only be asked to pay the set change fee, not the fare difference.
Small spelling errors can be corrected at no extra cost up to two hours before flying providing none of the flights in the booking have already been taken.
Adding middle names or second surnames is also free of charge.
This is very important to check as some airlines don’t require middle names for a booking, but Vueling’s policy is that passenger tickets must match their identity documents exactly.
Wizz Air
Passengers can access their Wizz Account and go to ‘Make changes’ if they wish to change a name for their upcoming flight.
Typos of up to three letters are free, while ticket transfers to a new completely name cost €70 (around £61).

This is allowed up to three hours before departure.
Wizz Air‘s call centre is also on hand for anyone who would prefer to make these changes by phone.
The airline is accommodating when it comes to changing surnames after marriage or divorce and will amend these for free for any passenger that provides the required documentation.
However, its website states that responses to such emails can take up to 30 days, so get in contact as soon as you can if you wish to request this.
British Airways
British Airways differs slightly compared to more budget airlines.
Its tickets are non-transferable, meaning passengers are not able to change an entire name on a booking and will instead need to cancel and re-book the ticket.
This will likely cost significantly more than any flat fee.
However, unlike other carriers, BA has a 24-hour grace period.
Customers have one day to completely cancel their flight free of charge, giving them the option to get a full refund and make a new booking in this time frame.
Free spelling corrections of up to three characters can be made by contacting the BA customer services team.

Organisers have controversially made the event stand-alone this year in an attempt to encourage top singles players to participate in the mixed doubles.
The competition is set to be played between August 19-20 with the US Open Singles tournament getting started on August 24.
Many of the big name singles players will be competing in the competition with seven teams gaining direct entry based on their combined singles rankings.
Wimbledon winner and last year’s men’s US Open champion Jannik Sinner teams up with experienced doubles player Katerina Siniakova.
Reigning champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori return as they will try to defend their title.
Novak Djokovic is also in the competition and pairs up with Olga Danilovic.
The 24-time Grand Slam winner has only reached the second round of a doubles competition once – at Wimbledon in 2006 – but did make a run to the semi-finals of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
US Open Mixed Doubles 2025 prize money
This year’s prize money has increased significantly from last year with the winning team now being awarded $1million (£736,880).
This is a staggering improvement on the $200,000 (£147,364) given to 2024 champions Errani and Vavassori.
Intent has clearly being shown by organisers significantly increasing the prize pool, upping the stakes and hopefully increasing the suspense and excitement of the games throughout the competition.
Here is a full breakdown of the prize money for the mixed doubles competition:
THE US Open mixed doubles tournament is getting a revamp this year, with some of the best singles players in the world stepping on court.
Instead of doubles happening at the same time as singles – like at the other three Grand Slams – the 2025 mixed doubles tournament at Flushing Meadows will take place a week before the singles tournament.

Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu will be playing as a team
The change has caused some controversy, as 2025 Wimbledon mixed doubles champ Sem Verbeek branded it “a shame“.
Who’s playing in the 2025 US Open mixed doubles?
There are eight teams confirmed for the US Open mixed doubles.
Five-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz will team up with British No. 1 Emma Raducanu – who won the singles tournament in 2021.
Earlier this year, they sparked romance rumours after being spotted at each other’s matches at Wimbledon and Queen’s.
Other confirmed teams include World No 1 Jannik Sinner and Emma Navarro, Brit No 1 Jack Draper and Spain’s Paula Badosa, and all-American duo Tommy Paul and Jessica Pegula.
Two more teams will receive a wildcard in the coming weeks. Among the favourites to receive the final wildcards are Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios, plus British No 2 Katie Boulter and her fiance Alex de Minaur, who tweeted: “Katie and I would like to ask for a WC pretty pretty please”.

When does the US Open mixed doubles tournament start?
The revamped US Open mixed doubles championship will take place over two days, on August 19 and 20.
The first and second rounds will start at 11am New York time (6am BST) on August 19, and the semi-final at 7pm (2pm BST) the following evening – with the final set to begin soon after.
The US Open as a whole will last three weeks, and will finish with the men’s singles final on September 7.
How much is the US Open mixed doubles prize money?
The 2025 mixed doubles champions will receive $1 million (about £740,000) in prize money.
This is five times as much as last year’s $200,000 (£148,600) prize money, won by Italy’s Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori – who have received a wildcard into this year’s tournament.
What is the controversy behind the 2025 US Open mixed doubles?
The new US Open mixed doubles format has sparked controversy for taking away opportunities from players who specialise in doubles.
Wimbledon mixed doubles champion Sem Verbeek of the Netherlands told BBC Sport that his “heart is bleeding” at not having the chance to play.
His doubles partner at Wimbledon, Czechia’s Katerina Siniakova – currently the world No 2 in doubles and an Olympic gold medallist – added: “I think it’s a marketing step, but they are taking [away the] chance of doubles players.”
Last year’s US Open mixed doubles champions, Errani and Vavassori, echoed their feelings.
“We see it as a profound injustice that disrespects an entire category of players,” the Italian duo said in a joint statement.

Itauma is the big favourite to beat veteran Whyte, who is almost double his age.
The Bodysnatcher is looking to pull off a huge upset as he looks to revive his career after underwhelming wins against Christian Hammer and Ebenezer Tetteh in 2024.
A win for Whyte could potentially set up a blockbuster rematch with Anthony Joshua or a trilogy bout against Derek Chisora.
But defeat may see the 37-year-old’s time as a top heavyweight come to an end.

But the Slovakian-born star – who sits at 12-0 (10KOs) is yet to face a test anywhere close to what Whyte can offer.
The Body Snatcher is now 37 and has not looked great in his last couple of fights, but the former world title challenger knows an upset win would catapult him right back to the top table.

Tottenham ended their 17-year trophy drought with their Europa League winCredit: AFP
In May, Spurs ended their 17-year trophy drought with a stunning 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Bilbao final.
New Tottenham boss Thomas Frank will get the chance to claim silverware in his first competitive match at the helm as he looks to lead the Lilywhites to the Super Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
The former Brentford boss will know it will be a big ask for Spurs as they face a PSG side who were the best team in Europe last season.
But this summer, the French giants failed to add the Club World Cup to their four trophies last term after they were thrashed 3-0 by Chelsea in the final.
Luis Enrique’s side will be looking to bounce back and add more silverware to their ever-expanding collection.
But it’s not just a trophy up for grabs in Udinese, with the Super Cup having huge cash incentives for both clubs.
What is the Super Cup prize money 2025?
Both PSG and Spurs will earn £3.4million each for playing in the Super Cup.
Whichever team goes on to lift the trophy, they will pick up an extra £900,000.
Meaning the Super Cup winner will bank a total of £4.3million.
How to watch the Super Cup 2025
The Super Cup will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1.
