ROMEO Beckham has confirmed that he is back with his ex Kim Turnbull after rekindling their romance.
The pair were seen in Paris this weekend, holding hands and looking loved up, just six months after the strain of the Beckham family feud led to them splitting up.

The announced of their split came around the same time that the Beckham family feud kicked off.
A source told The Mail at the time: “Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together but at that age things don’t always last forever and they decided to split up.
“They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues.
“It’s a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy but it wasn’t to be.
VICTORIA Beckham has lost a trademark war against a beauty brand — because she is not famous enough in Norway.
Posh Spice argued that Norwegian firm Vendela Beauty’s VB logo would be confused with her global brand.

She claimed both the designs were dominated by the letters VB, the layout was almost identical, and both businesses sell similar products.
The fashion designer, 51, provided Instagram followers, international magazine features and sales figures to prove she had a big presence in the country.
But Norway’s patent body decided that there was not enough evidence her brand was well-known enough in the Nordic state — and ruled they were different enough to avoid confusion.
Ex-swimwear model Vendela Kirsebom had filed a trademark application in September 2021 for her beauty brand, which sells a range of skincare, makeup, hair care and fragrance products.
It was registered in December 2023, before Victoria formally opposed it.
But the Norwegian Industrial Property Office ruled against her.
Senior legal adviser Tord Hestenes wrote in the judgment that while Victoria is well known in the industry, it “does not mean that her initials or the combined mark can be considered well-known for this reason alone”.
He said her evidence had limited value because her follower count did not actually show how many were in Norway.
He added that it had not been successfully proved how many Norwegians read the international magazines cited, and the sales figures provided covered the entire Nordic region — not just Norway.
Mr Hestenes ruled there was “no risk of confusion” over the brands.
He added: “Documentation in the case does not provide grounds for assuming that the opponent’s mark will be linked to the name Victoria Beckham.”
Victoria’s representatives have been approached for comment on the verdict.

DAVID and Victoria Beckham have publicly thrown their support behind their eldest son Brooklyn in a rare social media move that has tongues wagging.
Brooklyn, 26, showed off his kitchen skills in a new Instagram video, flipping fluffy buttermilk pancakes to Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight.

While he’s been keeping his distance from the famous family for months, both Posh and Becks quietly “liked” the clip in a huge hint that the frosty feud could be thawing.
The gesture comes after Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz failed to publicly support Victoria on socials as her hit Netflix documentary landed earlier this month.
They were also notably absent from her Paris Fashion Week show and the premiere of the documentary.
The couple snubbed David’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year in a move that left the family heartbroken.
Sources previously claimed the rift had reached breaking point, with Victoria and David having “accepted they won’t see Brooklyn for the foreseeable future.”
Meanwhile, the Beckhams’ other children are busy making their own mark in the spotlight.
Romeo, 23, is following in his dad’s football footsteps, Cruz, 20, has formed a band and is gigging around London, and 14-year-old Harper is said to be keen on following in her mums footsteps into fashion and beauty.
Victoria recently defended her kids from “nepo baby” criticism, telling The Sun: “It’s not their fault — give them a chance.”
Cruz is releasing his first single today and has already received critical acclaim, being signed to a top music management company — all off his own bat.
“Cruz has got music coming out soon,” Victoria told The Sun.
“He’s spent the last ten years learning his craft — much like I did with Roland — learning to play instruments.
“He taught himself to play about seven instruments. He writes his own songs, he’s put a band together.
“He’s properly done it from the grass roots up. He hasn’t just come in and sung his songs, or demanded anything.
“I mean I can’t really give him any advice — the industry has changed so much.
“But I told him, ‘Don’t expect immediate success’. It’s almost better if it isn’t an immediate success.
“You know, it’s like with my fashion thing — it’s taken me 20 years to get it to where it is.
“You’ve got to start small and build it up. And that’s exactly what he’s doing, playing tiny venues, no fuss, doing his thing.
“I am so proud of him.”
She added: “But he is a nepo. I mean, I feel sorry for these kids that are considered nepo-babies.
“The kids are simply the kids of their parents. It’s not their fault.
“Give them a chance. What matters is that people are good and kind.
“It is fine to be ambitious, but it is more important to be kind. Let the music speak for itself before you judge.”

CRUZ Beckham has paid a sweet tribute to girlfriend Jackie Apostel to celebrate her milestone birthday.
The 20-year-old was performing with his band in Birmingham last night, where he paid tribute to his older partner.

Jackie, who’s just turned 30, was watching from the crowd as her friend filmed the adorable moment unfold.
Cruz has been doing secret sets all around the UK, including a gig wearing his dad David’s football shirt.
“Someone… very close to me. It’s her birthday. Erm, I wrote this song about them,” he said on stage on Saturday night.
As the camera pans to Jackie, she says, “I’m going to cry, that’s so…”
The youngest Beckham boy also shared a gushing tribute on his Instagram, uploading happy snaps alongside Jackie.
“Happy birthday @jackieapostel. Another time around the globe, I love you baby,” he wrote alongside a childhood snap of his partner.
“@jackieapostel I love you to the moon and back.”
The festivities appeared to continue backstage, with Jackie sharing videos as Cruz put on a mini party for his girlfriend.
Surrounded by birthday balloons, she posed for a mirror selfie as Cruz is seen in the background organising a cake.
Another angle shows the giant chocolate tray surrounded by candles as the singer hand-delivered the sweet treat.
It comes after Cruz’s parents, Victoria and David Beckham, also shared birthday messages for Jackie’s special day.
Taking to her Instagram, Posh Spice wrote: “To the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful soul. We all love you soooo much.”
Tagging Jackie in the Story post, she uploaded a series of slides with pictures of them both at various glitzy events.
“Happy birthday, we hope you have an amazing day and can’t wait to celebrate with you,” she added alongside a snap of Jackie and Cruz.
Victoria added: “We all love you @jackie.apostel.”
David also uploaded a couple of pics of the pair on his Instagram.
“Happy birthday to a very special person inside and out,” he said.
“Thank you for making my son the best version of himself.”
The couple faced cruel trolling for their age gap. Cruz, who turns 21 next year, met Jackie at Glastonbury Festival and they began dating in June 2024.
The pair made their love Instagram official back in October that year, coming under fire for their near decade-long age gap.
“Why is a 29-year-old dating a 20. That’s just weird. I’m talking about Jackie dating Cruz,” a troll penned on social media.
At the time, Jackie wrote back, “Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal, and also quite handsome.”

Victoria Beckham is set to reunite with her former Spice Girls bandmates for a new animated project on the band, marking their first professional collaboration in a decade

Victoria Beckham is gearing up to join forces with her old Spice Girls pals for a huge new project. The animated venture, simply named The Spice Girls, will be their first professional reunion since they rocked the stage at the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
According to the official IMDb listing, The Spice Girls is currently in the early stages of production and will star all five original members: Geri Horner, Melanie Brown MBE, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Lady Victoria, lending their voices.
The brief description reveals: “An animated project featuring the music group The Spice Girls as superheroes.” Details regarding the storyline, format, and release date are still hush-hush, with IMDb only revealing that the project will see the girls reprising their pop star alter egos, including Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty, and Baby Spice.
This exciting news broke as Victoria, 51, graced the premiere of her three-part Netflix docu-series Victoria Beckham at The Curzon Mayfair in London on 8 October. The fashion mogul and former pop sensation was accompanied by her husband, Sir David Beckham, 50, and their children, except for eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, who is reportedly caught up in a family dispute.
Her ex-bandmates Emma, Geri and Melanie Chisholm also showed up at the premiere to lend their support, striking a pose together on the red carpet. Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, was the only member not present but sent Victoria a lovely bouquet of flowers ahead of the event.
Melanie had previous work commitments in the United States. Victoria hasn’t performed with the Spice Girls since their iconic Olympic appearance in London 12 years ago, despite the other four members reuniting for a UK and Ireland stadium tour in 2019.
Although Victoria opted out of that tour, she publicly expressed her support and has continued to honour the group’s legacy. The IMDb listing is the first official hint that the full lineup could once again collaborate on a professional project.
It remains unclear whether the animated production will be a feature film or a series. The Spice Girls became a worldwide sensation in the mid-1990s following the release of their debut single Wannabe in 1996. They went on to sell over 100 million records globally before Geri exited the band in 1998, leading to an official hiatus.
The band also reunited for a world tour in 2007 and again for their Olympic performance in 2012, which was widely hailed as one of the highlights of the Games. Since then, each member has embarked on individual ventures in music, television, fashion and business while maintaining a close personal bond.
But it seems that this isn’t the only Spice Girls project that Posh has in mind. During an interview with Andy Cohen, she admitted that she has been having several ideas about the chart-topping band, which will next year celebrate three decades of their debut single, “Wannabe.”
After saying she loved the idea of the band performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Victoria said: “It would be tempting. But could I take on a world tour? No, I can’t. I have a job… How good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere! I love the idea of it. I mean, I don’t know if I could even still sing, I mean, I was never that great!” Host Andy soon interrupted saying: “You can sing, babe.”
The Mirror has approached Victoria’s spokesperson for comment.
BROOKLYN Beckham snubbed a question about his mum Victoria Beckham’s Netflix documentary, amid the family feud.
Her eldest child with husband David is believed to have “quit” the family after he renewed his wedding vows with Nicola Peltz without them.

Brooklyn was notably missing from mum Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week event, where she was supported by her three other children.
He was asked by a Daily Mail reporter how his career as a chef was going, to which he replied: “Good. I’m building Cloud 23, I love it,” referring to his hot sauce brand.
He was then asked: “And what do you think of your mum’s documentary?” but Brooklyn was quick to turn away and walk off at that moment.
Brooklyn didn’t answer the question, and was instead ushered through the crowd at the cooking event.
The Beckham clan looked amazing last week, as they stepped out on the red carpet for Victoria’s new Netflix documentary.
It follows Victoria Beckham, 51, as she navigates her life, running her fashion and beauty empire in the global spotlight.
The global streamer promised exclusive access to her life, her family, and those closest to her.
Victoria dressed for the special occasion in a stunning white ensemble.
She was joined by husband David, sons Romeo and Cruz, daughter Harper and Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
However, Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn was absent from the red carpet.
Despite this, the former Spice Girls singer reportedly put the family feud to one side to make sure Brooklyn, 26, appeared in the doc.
Sources close to the project revealed that Brooklyn featured in a scene where he helps clear the catwalk after the heavens opened and it poured with rain.
VICTORIA Beckham has revealed all about her celeb feuds, which included a “rude” meeting with Donatella Versace and also being branded “a b*****” on live TV.
However, despite not being a fashion designer at that time, she set about making alterations to it, asking the store staff to tighten the waist, shorten the hemline and take off the sleeves.
“I basically redesigned the whole dress,” Victoria said. “I can’t believe I did that. So rude!”
This in turn did NOT go down well with Donatella.

‘You shouldn’t do it. That’s how I feel,” the fashion designer said on the Netflix doc.
‘Yeah, and I thought “how does she dare?”
However, Donatella, who is now good friends with Victoria, added: “Then I realised it was better on her the way she did it. She knows her body.”

BEING CALLED A ‘B***H’
Victoria also revealed on the Netflix doc how art critic Brian Sewell bluntly branded her a ‘b***h’ on TV – while at the same time praising her husband David Beckham .
Speaking on Alan Titchmarsh’s show in 2009, Brian said: “Beckham is wonderful in what he does; off the field he does all sorts of good works.
“Madame Beckham comes along, wearing virtually nothing, and steals the photographs, steals the occasion – and she’s just a common little b***h.”

MEL B FALL OUT
As she tried to make it in the world of fashion, Victoria tried to distance herself from her Posh Spice alter-ego.
However, in 2008 she was asked to go back out on the road with the Spice Girls.
She explained: “When I was working with (fashion designer) Roland Mouret the other Spice Girls told me they wanted to go on tour…
“David was like, ‘it’s really good for the kids to see you do this’, he mum-guilted me!”
11

Victoria agreed to the reunion tour and confessed: “I hadn’t been Posh Spice for such a long time. It was good to be back with them.”
But in 2019, when she was asked again to do it, Victoria said “no” – something that did not go down well with Mel B.
Victoria said she was “hurt” by one of Scary Spice’s comments, after she said she didn’t want to do the tour.
“It upset me not too long ago actually – Melanie B said to me ‘don’t forget where you’ve come from’,” Victoria told the doc.

She insisted: “I have never forgotten where I’ve come from. I have never forgotten that Posh Spice is the reason that I’m sitting here now.
“She might have been grumpy but she was actually great.
“It was good to celebrate the Spice Girls but it was during that [2008] tour that I realised I didn’t belong on stage. It had been fun but it wasn’t what I loved anymore.”
She admitted that she starved herself in an effort to stay thin.
She candidly revealed how she became “very good at lying” after losing control of what was being said about her.

“It’s been a lot, and that’s hard. I had no control over what was being written about me, the pictures being taken, and I suppose I wanted to control that,” Victoria revealed in an episode entitled Kill The Wag
“I could control it with the clothing, I could control my weight and I was controlling it in an extremely unhealthy way.
“When you have an eating disorder you become very good at lying and I was never honest about it with my parents.
“I never talked about it publicly. It really affects you when you’re being told constantly that you’re not good enough and I suppose that’s been with me my whole life.”

Victoria and David were joined by kids Romeo, Harper, Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
Although Brooklyn was not there, Posh held out an olive branch by mentioning him in her speech.
David’s mum, Sandra, and sister Joanne were also present along with the Beckhams’ celebrity pals Tilly and Tana Ramsay.
Three of Victoria’s Spice Girls pals turned up — Ginger Spice Geri Horner, Sporty Spice Mel C and Baby Spice Emma Bunton.
Before the screening Victoria stood on stage and said: “I’d like to thank the Spice Girls — Geri, Emma, Melanie and Melanie. I love you so much and thank you so much.
“My children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David — oh, my God, he’s not a child. I was doing so well without cards as well.
“It’s taken me this process to really be proud of what I’ve achieved and to realise finally that I am enough.”

WHEN Victoria Beckham’s business was at the height of its extravagant spending she admitted some of her most ostentatious requests included “flying chairs from one side of the world to the other.”
She also spent £70,000 a year on plants for her office – then paid someone £15,000 a year to water them.
Small wonder, she admits, the company was struggling financially. But she confesses in her new documentary that she’d naively gone from the ostentatious world of entertainment to the more business-minded world of fashion.
“I didn’t realise it at the time, but the waste was mind-blowing.” she says in the Netflix three-parter, out now. “I hear it now and I’m horrified but I allowed that to happen.”
She is nothing if not candid in the mini-series, but doesn’t stop there. She goes on to admit, seemingly, that already being a Spice Girl married to a famous footballer meant she was unwittingly at a disadvantage.
She said: “Part of the problem was people were really afraid to tell me ‘No’. I think probably there’s a power, if I’m being honest, the power of celebrity. People thought that I wasn’t used to hearing ‘No’.
“I’ll hold my hands up and hold myself accountable for things that I’ve done, that I should have done, and could have done differently. and I was in debt – there was a lot I had to change.”
If ever you needed definitive proof that Victoria Beckham is as sharp as razor, then this documentary is it.
She could have delivered a bog standard warts and all autobiography for Netflix, or a no holds barred snapshot of her life as a fashion designer.
Instead she’s carefully curated both elements and woven them into this version of events.
It shows how she went from a Spice Girl to the darling of the catwalk and, of course, the head of one of Britain’s most famous families with husband David.
Here she also admits to her own flaws, to the moments when she lost her way and picked herself back up when she inevitably faltered.
But despite now being the successful global fashion icon that is Victoria Beckham, she does it without seeming pious. Instead she oozes genuine humility and sense of humour that proves a huge part of her is still Posh Spice.
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has revealed the part husband David Beckham played in her creating her steely pose in which she rarely smiles for the camera

Victoria Beckham has revealed why she doesn’t smile(Image: PA)
Victoria Beckham’s trademark pout has become symbolic with her appearance over the years. The singer and fashion guru, 51, is well known for her steely look on the catwalks and red carpets and is rarely spotted cracking a smile.
However, while her trademark look has long been speculated, the former Spice Girl has finally revealed the real reason behind keeping her teeth under wraps. Sorry David, but she’s gunning for you.
Victoria’s latest project sees her appear in her self-titled Netflix docuseries and she spills the beans on a number of the family’s most personal details. And this also includes her lack of smiling.
She insists her look was simply formed after husband David stood on her “good side”. She said: “Here’s a fact, I’ve looked miserable for all these years because when we stand on the red carpet, this guy has always [stood] on the left.
“Now I didn’t realise that when I smile – which I do! – I smile from the left, because if I smile from the right, I look unwell. So I’m smiling on the inside but no one ever sees it – so that’s why I look so moody.”
As well as the admission about David’s positioning, Victoria later revealed it may have been a confidence thing at times. She said she was left feeling as though she didn’t want to smile after losing her way following the split of the Spice Girls in 2000.
As her solo career failed to hit the same heights, Victoria said people questioning her next moves began to take a toll on her. “I’d be lying if I said I was the best singer or dancer,” she said. “But when people are mean and you’re hearing things and you’re seeing things and you’re constantly made to feel you’re not good enough, that really hurts. I became so self conscious.”
She later added: “The minute i see a camera, I change. The barrier goes up, my armour goes on and that’s when the miserable cow who doesn’t smile comes out.
“I’m so conscious of that and I don’t like that, I’d rather not be that person. I’d love to have the confidence to walk out of a restaurant and smile but I just can’t do it.'”
And her change in persona was also noted by David who said he could see her confidence and bubbly side slowly disappearing.
Elsewhere on the series, Victoria admitted she became “good at lying” as she revealed how she was able to hide an eating disorder. The mum-of-four explained that she stopped eating because she was felt unable to control what others were saying about her during the height of her fame, but “I can control my weight”.
She revealed how she tried to control the narrative about what was being reported about her: “I could control it with the clothing, I could control it with my weight and I was controlling it in an extremely unhealthy way.
“When you have an eating disorder you become very good at lying and I was never honest about it with my parents.”

MOST of the Beckhams put on a united front at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show but eldest son Brooklyn snubbed his family again.
The designer and former Spice Girl, 51, was joined by husband David, 50, sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, as well as 14-year-old daughter Harper in the French capital last night.

They fought bad weather to get to the Val-de-Grace venue but Brooklyn, 26, and actress wife Nicola Peltz, 30, remained in LA even though Victoria’s collection was inspired by being a mother.
Describing the show, Posh’s website said: “For Spring- Summer 2026 collection, Victoria Beckham revisits the instinctive experimentation of girlhood dressing, inspired by the designer’s own adolescence and her perspective as a mother.”
Ex-Vogue editor Anna Wintour, 75, was seen chatting to David before it started.
The Beckhams’ close friend Eva Longoria, 50, was seen leaving her hotel in a black wrap dress with her producer husband, Jose Baston, 57, as they travelled to the show.
Victoria Beckham’s highly anticipated Netflix documentary is set to be released on October 9, and the streaming giant has released a brand new trailer.
The eagerly awaited docuseries will arrive on Netflix next week, leaving fans absolutely buzzing with excitement. The three-part programme is scheduled for release on 9 October, and is crafted by the same team behind the Emmy award winning BECKHAM series.
Featuring exclusive chats and shocking revelations, the docuseries will give viewers an unprecedented peek behind the curtain of Victoria Beckham’s world, encompassing both her professional journey and family dynamics. And supporters won’t have much longer to hold their breath.
Netflix has unveiled a fresh teaser as the fashion mogul opens up about her family memories, reports the Manchester Evening News. In the footage, Victoria Beckham reveals: “I’ve always wanted to do this.
“Throughout my life, I’ve used clothes to become someone else, be the person that I always wanted to be, that maybe naturally I wasn’t.
“I used to customise the school uniform in the bathroom at lunchtime. I used to love watching my mum get dressed up, you know she really cared and made the best of herself.
“I remember my mum saying to me if you dress up to get on the aeroplane, if there’s any chance of being upgraded they’re always going to look at who looks the best. I mean the truth is, there is no first class on budget air lines.”
Content cannot be displayed without consent
Posting the teaser on Instagram, Netflix captioned: “Victoria Beckham looks back on the importance of fashion in her life VICTORIA BECKHAM comes to Netflix October 9.”
One excited fan responded: “I can’t WAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIT!” Another chimed in with: “Welcome back.”
While Netflix has already given us a glimpse into the life of her ex-footballer husband David Beckham, this new series will shine the spotlight on the former Spice Girl.
Netflix tantalises viewers with: “VICTORIA BECKHAM, a three-part documentary series, gives all of us a front row seat as Victoria prepares for the fashion show of her life.
“From the teenager who restyled her school uniform, to the Spice Girl who fought to be accepted by a notoriously demanding fashion industry, Victoria Beckham is the story of resilience, reinvention and self-discovery.
“From the makers of the Emmy award-winning BECKHAM and the award-winning director of Michelle Obama’s Becoming.”
Last month, Netflix released the official trailer which saw the star breaking down in tears as she made a shocking confession. She revealed: “We were millions in the red”, while husband David confessed it “made me panic.”
Victoria Beckham premiers on Netflix on October 9.
Wedding Dress Controversy: Rumours begin circulating that there’s tension between Nicola and Victoria Beckham after Nicola chooses not to wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding gown. Nicola later clarifies in August 2022 (and again in March 2023) that Victoria’s atelier couldn’t make the dress in time, but reports in May 2025 suggest Victoria actually changed her mind about making the dress.
Post-Wedding (2022 onwards): Minimal interaction between Nicola and Victoria on social media, and noticeable absence of Nicola at key Beckham family events.
May 2025:David Beckham’s 50th Birthday Snub: Brooklyn and Nicola are notably absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in London, despite being invited. Reports suggest their absence was due to Brooklyn not wanting to be in the same room as Kim Turnbull, the girlfriend of Romeo who had previously been reported to have been dating Brooklyn, who David allegedly opted to have at the party over Nicola.
Rumours emerge of a falling out between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo, reportedly due to Romeo’s new girlfriend, DJ Kim Turnbull, who allegedly had a past connection with Brooklyn.
Reports surface that the Beckham parents are “hurt and disappointed” that Brooklyn is “playing no part in family life.” Sources claim that tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and his parents are “definitely not beyond repair.”
July 2025: Reports indicate David and Victoria are “desperate” to reconcile with Brooklyn. Brooklyn publicly wishes his sister Harper a happy 14th birthday on Instagram, tagging Nicola, which is seen as a potential “olive branch” and a rare public message to his family amid the rumored rift.
Brooklyn UNFOLLOWS his brothers Romeo and Cruz just 24 hours after his birthday message to Harper. Nicola quickly follows suit and also ditches the Beckham bros from her Instagram following. Romeo and Cruz are now also no longer following Brooklyn.

LAFC’s signing of South Korean star Son Heung-min earlier this month is a major coup not just for the team. It’s also the latest in a spate of acquisitions that has brought an unprecedented level of talent and attention to MLS as the league nears the end of its 30th anniversary season.
Since Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami shortly after winning the 2022 World Cup, MLS has welcomed more than two dozen global standouts, from World Cup champions Hugo Lloris, Olivier Giroud, Rodrigo De Paul and Thomas Mueller to Germany’s Marco Reus and Uruguay’s Luis Suárez.
Some were a bit past their prime but others, including Messi, have proven to be dominant MLS players. The addition of Son, arguably the best Asian player of all time, opens a new chapter for the league and U.S. soccer as the country prepares to welcome the World Cup back next summer.
With that as a backdrop, here’s one man’s list of the 10 most important signings in MLS history:
CARLOS ALCARAZ has unveiled a radical new look for the US Open – he has shaved off all his HAIR.

And fans were left shocked when they spotted him on the practice courts.
The Spaniard, 22, normally has thick, black hair and certainly did when he played in the Mixed Doubles Championship.
That was last Tuesday with Emma Raducanu on the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Yet ahead of his first-round encounter with lanky American Reilly Opelka on Tuesday evening, he turned up with a fresh skinhead.
It was a surprising look that was captured by US Open cameras and footage was posted on their Instagram channel.
The former US Open champion wore a white Nike Total 90 Dri-FIT soccer jersey, which was a sleeveless top.
It is perhaps a wise choice given the heat and humidity of playing in the Big Apple at this time of the year.
Nonetheless, the decision to chop off his locks was a recent one.
That was given that a video was posted on Monday of him attending St Patrick’s cathedral off Fifth Avenue.
The world-renowned tennis player was given a blessing from a Catholic priest – and in the footage, he has a full head of hair.
Petra Kvitova’s Tearful Farewell: The Emotional End of a Grand Slam Legend
Alcaraz is one of the biggest sportsmen on the planet and will be hoping for a deep run at the last Slam of the year.
In their last four tournaments together, Alcaraz and world No.1 Jannik Sinner have met in the final.
They battled it out in Rome, Paris, Wimbledon and Cincinnati.
Assuming he has not lost his magical powers like biblical hero Samson did following a hair cut, then there is a great chance Alcaraz and Sinner could meet again in the final on Sunday September 7.
How to watch the 2025 US Open

Brooklyn and Nicola said ‘I do’ again on Nicola’s family estate on August 2 in Westchester County, New York.
Three years after they first tied the knot, the couple decided to have a low key ceremony to reaffirm their love for each other.
Brooklyn captioned the snaps “Only love” alongside a white heart emoji.
Rebecca Loos candidly wiped away tears as she opened up on her infamous alleged affair with David Beckham as she made her debut on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

Rebecca Loos candidly wiped away tears as she discussed her alleged affair with David Beckham on the first episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The model, 48, infamously claimed that she and football legend David, 50, had an affair in the early 2000s.
It was one of the biggest showbiz scandals of the time, and came about just a few years after he tied the knot with Victoria Beckham. And on Sunday night, viewers watched as the then-PA of the former Manchester United star broke down in tears as she addressed the whole thing during a tense interrogation scene.
Asked if she would do things differently, she said: “If I went back in time, yes, of course.” She added: “I was unhappy with the way I had been treated so I didn’t want to go around anymore carrying this secret, rumours started spreading.” It comes after Cruz Beckham ‘steals’ his dad’s tiny white trunks and family have epic response.

She added: “I decided it would be better if it came from me, so I gave an interview thinking it would be something and it ended up being something else and I spent a few years seeing if I could get it back. I really put it really far behind me.”
Asked what she hoped to get out of the programme, Rebecca added : “I want to grow from this course as a person, I want to see how far I can push myself.” And then Rebecca seemed to have adopted a confident front, as she declared in a confessional: “I think I’ve definitely taken most of the blame for what happened, and rightly so. It was part of my life but we were two and he was all over me and he was my boss.”
But when mingling with her fellow recruits, she was seen breaking down in tears. It was then that former footballer Adebayo “The Beast” Akinfenwa rushed to put her arms around her as he spotted her wiping away tears. “You good?” he asked her and the two shared a hug.
Back in her confessional, she added: “You can’t change the things that have happened is my attitude. I just roll my sleeves up and get on with it because everything that I have experienced has brought me to where I am today and it has made me a little bit stronger.”
Rebecca, who has sons Magnus and Liam with her husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa, decided to sign up for the programme following a long break from the spotlight, as she explained: “I said yes to this because I felt that it was a really good time in my life to do this.
“I’d had a break from reality TV for a few years, become a mother, moved to Norway, changed quite a bit, and when I was younger I loved doing extreme things. I was finalist in Spanish Survivor where I was surviving on an island for three months in Honduras, and I’ve done quite a few extreme things, and adventurous shows. So I just felt like it would be really interesting to do.”
The drama began in 2003 after Beckham had just completed a high-profile move from Manchester United to Real Madrid, a career-defining transfer that promised fresh footballing glory in Spain. With the move came a new entourage, including 26-year-old Rebecca Loos, who was hired as a personal assistant to help the Beckhams settle into Spanish life.
In September that year, Beckham and Loos were photographed leaving a Madrid nightclub together. Whispers of an affair quickly began circulating, although both parties remained silent.
But everything changed in April 2004 when Loos sold her story in an exclusive interview with News of the World. She claimed that the pair had been romantically involved for four months.
Explaining why she chose to embark on the alleged fling, she said: “We just connected. People noticed it.” Explaining that the idea of group drinks back at the hotel were floated after a night out, she claimed David told her: “Why don’t we just lose the rest and why don’t we just go back together?”
“I gave him a look I was very surprised, very taken aback. I said, ‘**** off’ in a joking manner. But there was a look and he was still looking at me and I was looking at him. I think one of the girls we were with came up and sat between us. I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong.
Admitting she knew he was a married man and that she was worried about jeopardising her job, she shared her reason for agreeing. “I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong and people were not happy because I was being very unprofessional and he’s a married man.
“Then it dawned on me what he had asked me and I decided I did want to go back with him so we gave each other a look and paid the bill and left.
“I couldn’t wait to be alone with him and I knew he felt the same. We dropped off the other two people in the car and starting kissing quite passionately all the way back to the hotel… It was like magnets, pretty amazing.”
Sir David Beckham and wife Lady Victoria with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz
The anointment of Sir David Beckham is a moment of establishment recognition three decades in the making. But as the former footballer was conferred his knighthood on Friday, reports of family drama threaten to overshadow the milestone.
Known for his precision on and off the pitch, Sir David has spent decades carefully curating his family’s public image.
This year is one of celebration for the former England captain – turning 50 at the helm of an estimated £500m empire.
But for the past few weeks, much of the online interest around the Beckhams has focused on reports that eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have fallen out with the rest of the family.
An expert in reputation management says reports of the feud have begun to affect the family’s public image, noting press coverage of the Beckhams has taken on a more soap-opera-like tone.
Celebrity crisis PR Lauren Beeching says recent media conversation has “started to feel more like something you’d see around a reality TV family”.

German Glamour magazine called Brooklyn and Nicola the “world’s most talked about couple” earlier in June
Reports of a family fallout began three years ago as stories emerged claimingthat Nicola had refused to wear one of Victoria Beckham’s designs on her wedding day.
Nicola later said she had wanted to, telling the Times Victoria realised her atelier couldn’t make it in time so she had to pick a different designer. Nicola denied there was a feud in the family.
But scrutiny continued, with shows of unity (from warm social media posts to shared events) being framed as the Beckhams putting the feud behind them, or discouraging rumours of discord.
Eventually, speculation seemed to die down. But reports of a rift returned last month after Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations and didn’t post a birthday message online.
A source told the BBC Brooklyn had chosen not to go to the party as his younger brother Romeo was attending with a woman Brooklyn had previously been linked to.
The source added that this woman’s invitation had been “a big source of further tension”.
Sir David and Lady Victoria have never acknowledged the rumoured rift, and havenot responded to the BBC’s requests for comment.
Ms Beeching believes there’s now a risk the feud stories could start to shape the family’s image, “instead of the achievements they actually want to be known for”. “Once you start being spoken about like a reality TV family,” she continues. “That reputation starts to slip”.

As Manchester United’s golden boy, David Beckham quickly transcended football to become a global celebrity.
He and Spice Girl wife Victoria created Brand Beckham – fusing fame, fashion and football to redefine modern stardom.
“Their brand has always been about control of narrative, image, and legacy,” says Mr Borkowski. “The media didn’t chase them. They gave it a trail to follow – blending scandal with strategy and high-end deals.”
Beckham “made metrosexuality mainstream”, he adds. “He showed working-class lads you could wear nail polish, model for Armani, champion grooming rituals – and still bend a free-kick past the keeper at crunch time. All while embodying a very traditional ideal: devoted husband, hands-on dad, family first.”
“I lived my career through the spotlight,” Sir David told BBC Radio 4’s Front Row in 2013. “You have to be a certain person, you have to create a certain person, and you have to be yourself.”
These parallel identities – carefully constructed yet authentic – gave Beckham his unique pull.
While the Beckham family have always been relatively private, Ms Beeching sees David’s 2023 Netflix documentary as a turning point in how the public perceived them.
“The Beckham brand has always been seen as aspirational, not accessible, but since the documentary, there’s been a notable increase in how much the family share on their social media accounts, which puts them closer to being reality stars,” she says.
Ms Beeching says recent news has pulled the family “away from legacy-building and into soap opera territory, which was never their lane”.
The constant rumours about the family’s dynamic have led some fans to take on a “Sherlock Holmes role” – so now, every absence in a photo becomes a hidden theory and every Instagram caption has a sub context.
Feud is ‘built to go viral’
Matt Navarra, a social media consultant, tells the BBC fans expect to see social signals of closeness such as mutual follows, birthday posts and supportive comments.
“When these signals are missing, people don’t assume neutrality, they assume tension.”
Fans and tabloids were quick to pick up on Brooklyn and Nicola’s German Glamour magazine shoot earlier this month as a signal that the rift was far from over – the couple avoided mentioning the Beckhams, but Nicola’s love for her own family was referenced several times.
Since then, every Beckham Instagram post and like (or lack thereof) has been agonised over, and even if discussion of the feud are eventually put to bed, it’s unlikely that social media sleuthing will end.
Mr Navarra explains that even if facts are revealed and the rift rumours are quashed, “the social media algorithm doesn’t care about accuracy – it cares about engagement”.
This feud is the “perfect storm as it’s built to go viral”, and social media doesn’t just fuel speculation, it manufactures and rewards it, he says.
Of course, family drama is also more relatable than a knighthood, and there’s always been an insatiable appetite for famous families feuding in the spotlight.
Ms Beeching sees parallels between the Beckham family fallout and the rift between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, which continues to make headlines.

Since stepping back from senior royal duties in 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have seen their fractured relationship with the British monarchy go public
“The Royal Family lost control over the narrative as Harry and Meghan became more independent, and that’s the same here with Brooklyn and Nicola, who are both adults and are forming their own public personas,” she says.
Like Meghan, Nicola Peltz was already a known figure before marrying Brooklyn. The daughter of a billionaire businessman and model, “Nicola doesn’t need to rely on the Beckhams for money or fame”, says Wayne Barton, who wrote a biography about Beckham in 2020.
In a bid to not be perceived as nepo babies – children of celebrities who get fast-tracked to success – “Brooklyn and Nicola are in search of their own identities, which “may be putting them at odds with the careful public image that the Beckhams have created for the family”, he says.
Sir David’s polished image has, on occasion, been tarnished by scandal – in 2003, he faced accusations of an extra-marital affair with his former personal assistant Rebecca Loos.
Nicole Lampert, the Daily Mail’s showbiz editor at the time, says the Beckhams perfected “smiling through” issues – letting actions speak over words.
In 2004, the couple staged a photocall skiing together to demonstrate a united front – with Victoria giving what Lampert describes as a pained “rictus grin”.
Generally, however, the Beckhams have remained tight-lipped when it comes to scandals, such as criticism over David Beckham’s involvement with Qatar, and leaked emails in 2017 that included disparaging comments about singer Katherine Jenkins being awarded an honour over him.
Brand is ‘bruised not broken’
Having been in the spotlight for decades, the Beckham brand will survive the feud and it’s currently “bruised but not broken”, according to Mr Navarra.
One way the Beckhams could limit the damage to their brand would be by “showing family unity with a picture on social media or at least acknowledging that all families have their ups and downs”, he suggests.
But trying to inauthentically manage the situation and making things look overly staged could backfire and the “narrative of a feud will become permanently baked in”.
Mr Navarra doesn’t believe there are many real implications to the Beckham brand right now and the reports aren’t affecting their earning potential, brand collaborations or level of interest in them.
“If anything, it humanises the family a bit,” he explains, but he cautions there could be a greater impact on their reputation if the feud escalates or more damaging rumours come to light.
Actor Gary Oldman has been knighted alongside David Beckham on a King’s Birthday Honours list that also recognises Strictly Come Dancing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
The Oscar winner and the former football England captain are among 19 new sirs, while 21 damehoods have been announced, including singer and actress Elaine Paige and Regeneration novelist Pat Barker.
There are MBEs for teenage world darts champion Luke Littler and Love Island star Georgia Harrison for her work on online privacy and cyber crime.
Overall, 1,200 people are on the main honours listed issued by the Cabinet Office, of which 48% are women. The youngest person being honoured is 11 while the oldest is 106.
The list features a range of well-known names, including from the arts, politics and sports, but it is primarily made up of people being recognised for their work in the community, including campaigners and fundraisers.
Actor Sir Gary has enjoyed an illustrious career on screen and stage since the early 1980s and in 2018, won best actor at the Academy Awards for playing wartime prime minister Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. More recently, he won acclaim for his portrayal of an MI5 agent in Apple TV’s Slow Horses.
Daly and Winkleman are made Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to broadcasting.
Both have had a long association with Strictly, which has aired 22 series. Daly started as a co-presenter with Sir Bruce Forsyth in the first season in 2004, while Winkleman originally hosted a spin-off programme. They have hosted the main show as a duo since 2014.
“I am ridiculously lucky and will celebrate with Tess by doing a paso doble,” Winkleman said.
Daly said she almost missed out on accepting the honour after the letter was sent to the wrong address – and added that she cried when she opened the envelope.
Sir David’s knighthood for services to sport and charity has been confirmed, having been widely reported earlier this month. The 50-year-old ex-footballer said he was “immensely proud”.
He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003, and became an ambassador for Unicef in 2005 and for The King’s Foundation last year, supporting King Charles’ education programme and efforts to promote nature.
“I’m so lucky to be able to do the work that I do and I’m grateful to be recognised for work that gives me so much fulfilment,” Beckham said.
Evita star Dame Elaine also received her honour for services to music and charity. “I’ve been very lucky in my life and my career, I’m in a very privileged position,” she told the BBC. “When you are in a position to help others, that is something I wanted to do.”

Sir Roger Daltrey, frontman of 1960s-formed rock group The Who and a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust – known for its annual fundraising concerts at the Royal Albert Hall – has been knighted for services to charity and music.
Sir Roger said he was accepting the knighthood “on behalf of all those unsung people who had worked to make the charity the success it had become”.
Love Island star Georgia Harrison has been made an MBE for her work campaigning on online privacy and cyber crime
“Speaking out after what happened wasn’t easy, but I knew it was important,” Harrison said. “I didn’t want anyone else to feel as alone or powerless as I did. I’ve tried to turn something painful into something positive, and this honour is a reminder that we can make change when we use our voices.”
Darts player Luke Littler, 18 – the youngest winner of the PDC World Darts Championship – appears on the list with one of his main rivals – Premier League Darts champion Luke Humphries, 30, who also became an MBE. There is an OBE for veteran star of the sport Deta Hedman, 65, who is recognised for her contribution to sport and charity.

Sir Philip Barton, the former top civil servant at the Foreign Office, who has previously received multiple royal honours, has become a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George for services to British foreign policy, while former Conservative health minister and MP for Lewes Maria Caulfield has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for political and public service.
The Foreign Office has announced an additional honours recognising the work of overseas residents or service abroad, and there are separate lists covering gallantry awards and for service personnel in the military.
Business leaders on the list include Nationwide chief executive Debbie Crosbie, who has been made a dame. Greggs chief executive Roisin Currie and Specsavers co-founder and chairman Douglas Perkins have both become CBEs.
Three trade union leaders are being recognised, with Dave Ward, general secretary of the Communication Workers Union (CWU), and Dr Patrick Roach, the general secretary of the NASUWT teachers’ union, being made CBEs, while Sue Ferns, deputy general secretary of the civil service union Prospect, is made an OBE.

Others from the world of stage and screen on the list include veteran theatrical star Jane Lapotaire, who is made a CBE. Bridgerton actor Adjoa Andoh and Bafta winner Samantha Morton are among the new MBEs, while former EastEnders star Anita Dobson‘s OBE recognises her work in charitable fundraising and philanthropy.
Another former EastEnders actress, Tracy-Ann Oberman, is made an MBE for services to Holocaust education and combating antisemitism.
The sport stars recognised include former Wimbledon champion Virginia Wade – a CBE for services to tennis and charity – and double Olympic triathlon gold medallist Alistair Brownlee and former cricketer Devon Malcolm, who both become OBEs.
Rugby League legend Billy Boston is also named on the list, making him the first person from the sport to receive a knighthood in its 130-year history. The 90-year-old trailblazer for black sports stars, who played for Wigan and Great Britain in the 1950s and 1960s, received his knighthood earlier this week because of concerns over his health.

Meanwhile, Angel of the North sculptor Sir Antony Gormley and physicist Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell have joined the elite Companions of Honour, an exclusive group limited to only 65 recipients at any one time.
But most people on the Birthday Honours list are being recognised for their work in the community.
After Samantha Madgin was murdered in Tyne and Wear in 2007, her sister Carly Barrett and mother Alison Magdin set up Samantha’s Legacy to educate young people about the dangers of carrying knives. The pair are now MBEs.
Zahrah Mahmood, the president of Ramblers Scotland who is known on social media as the Hillwalking Hijabi, has been made an MBE for her contribution to voluntary service in Scotland. She is using her position as president to focus on diversity and inclusion within the outdoor community.
“If this recognition helps a little to show that the outdoors is for everyone, that would mean the world to me,” Mrs Mahmood says. “But I’m also aware that visibility is often the first step. I would love to play a small part in continuing to move things in the right direction.

John and Lorna Norgrove have been made OBEs for services to women and children abroad and in Scotland after they set up a charity in memory of their daughter Linda, an aid worker who was kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan in September 2010 and died in an attempted rescue the following month.
“We dedicate this honour to all those brave women who remain in Afghanistan, or who have made the decision to leave their homes and families behind to move abroad and continue their studies and careers,” the couple said. “Their struggle continues and they are the real heroes of this story.”
And Duncan and Caroline Speirs and their daughter Jenna Speirs from the Isle of Bute all receive British Empire Medals for their work through Calum’s Cabin, which provides holiday homes for children facing cancer, after their son Calum died in 2007.
The oldest person to be honoured on the list is 106-year-old World War Two veteran Norman Irwin, who served in North Africa and is being given a British Empire Medal (BEM). After returning to Northern Ireland, he formed the Coleraine Winemakers Club in the early 1960s, and also went on to become one of the founders of the town’s Rotary Club and the Agivey Anglers Association.

Miss Chillery-Watson, who has LMNA congenital muscular dystrophy, has become the youngest-ever person to be made an MBE, in recognition of her fundraising and awareness campaigns for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
“I never thought anything like this would happen,” she said. “I just want to make a difference to the disability community, to be able to show them: you’re strong, you can do whatever you want.”
