Since taking over the reins of the Great British Bake Off in 2023, Alison has also been at the helm of For the Love of Dogs, stepping into the shoes of the beloved Paul O’Grady over the past year.

January saw the launch of Alison Hammond’s Florida Unpacked on BBC Two, and more recently, Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend made its debut.

In this latest series, viewers have seen Alison mingling with celebrities such as Perrie Edwards and Luke Evans, exploring the places that shaped them, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Never one to rest on her laurels, Alison is now gearing up to present Channel 4’s Your Song, where everyday people will perform songs that hold personal significance.

Echoing the sentiment of The Piano, produced by Love Productions, this six-part series will feature Alison travelling across the UK.

Alison shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming show, stating: “I love the power that music, and singing your heart out has.

“It can change your mood – put a smile on your face, make you sad, make you reminisce. So I’m really excited about this new show, about real people telling us their stories through song. Let’s hit the road.”

An insider told The Sun: “Alison was the natural choice to present this, with her warm personality and ability to catch unguarded moments with the singers, together with chatting to the crowds.

“Your Song will feature people who love singing – they may have been singing for a long time but not necessarily in public or on a stage. You can expect some unexpected performances.”

“I’ve got a personal trainer – she’s amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I’m working, I don’t train. I’ll go for a walk.

“But when I’m at home, I’ll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.”

This Morning is available to watch on ITVX.
