Coronation Street actress Georgia Taylor, known for her role as Toyah Habeeb, has expressed her deep affection by getting matching tattoos with her “love of her life”. Having joined the cast in 1997, the 45 year old has been a recurring face on the show ever since.

In her off-screen life, she keeps fans on Instagram up-to-date with personal anecdotes and is often photographed enjoying time with her fellow Corrie cast members. Following a two-year romance with fellow soap star Charlie De Melo, they reportedly parted ways earlier this year.

And on Saturday night, Georgia took to Instagram to show off her latest tattoo, dedicating the post to her dear friend. Both received matching gingko leaf designs inked on their arms.

With heartfelt words, the actress captioned her post: “How to celebrate many, many years of the most beautiful friendship? Matching tattoos of course. @kateabel4916 you’re the love of my life.”

She also thanked the tattoo artist with: “@big.bird.tattoo thank you for being an absolute dreamboat once again. See you next month no doubt [kissing emoji]”. Fans are clearly loving the ink, as one said: “Absolutely gorgeous tattoo on you both xxx”.

A second said: “Fantastic artwork both, looks awesome”, while a third wrote: “So special”.
