CHOCOLATE fans are buzzing after spotting Lindt chocolate bars in B&M – and they’re scanning for just 50p each.
The new flavour causing all the excitement is Cookies & Cream — and shoppers can’t get enough.
The sweet deal was shared on Facebook, where one user posted: “Cookies & Cream Lindt Chocolate Bars spotted at B&M Stores 50p each!”
The post quickly racked up comments, with excited shoppers tagging friends to spread the news.
One fan said: “I love cookies and cream,” while another added: “Ooo I like Lindt xxx.”
Many vowed to head straight to their nearest B&M to stock up while they could.
At just 50p a bar, it’s no surprise shoppers are filling their baskets fast.
Lindt’s reputation for smooth, melt-in-the-mouth chocolate has long made it a fan favourite and this new flavour is no exception.
It’s not the first time Lindt lovers have scored a bargain.
Amazon recently slashed the price of Lindt’s Lindor Assorted Easter Egg Gift Set from £13 to just £7.68 – more than £5 cheaper than Sainsbury’s.
Savvy shoppers didn’t waste any time snapping up the deal, with one happy customer saying: “These were excellent, and two of us ate and enjoyed them until we finished the box.
“Highly recommended.”
In another treat for choc fans, Amazon has also cut the price of giant 1kg bags of Lindt truffles.
The bags, packed with around 80 individually wrapped truffles, have dropped from £30 to £21.38, just in time for Easter.
Perfect for parties, egg hunts, or a cheeky treat for yourself, the bargain bags have been flying off the shelves.
One shopper said: “Love these. Such smooth and delicious chocolate at a great price.”
Meanwhile, Lindt has made an even bigger splash with the opening of a huge new flagship store in London.
Located opposite Piccadilly Circus tube station, the store boasts the UK’s biggest pick ‘n’ mix station and is packed with luxury chocolate treats.
Shoppers can even try Dubai-style chocolate bars for £10 and grab a Lindt-flavoured coffee or ice cream from the café counter.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
